Meet Maddie Moore

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Maddie Moore. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Maddie below.

Maddie , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Essentially we are given multiple purposes in our lifetime. Sometimes it’s evident and sometimes it takes time to learn. Personally, college was hard for me because I had to decide on a career choice at 18 when I wasn’t 100% sure who I was. After college, I did realize how much I loved event planning and ended up doing that for a couple of years until I started my weight loss journey. At that point, I decided to start a meal prep company as a side hustle because I became so passionate about nutrition and health and wanted to help other people feel good about themselves. I’ve learned that sometimes helping yourself  FIRST will help lead you to your purpose. You can’t listen to other people’s dreams or opinions about what you’re here to do/fufill. For me recently I have had to be quiet because I do feel a new season approaching and needed to get quiet with God about what that could be like for me. He has shown me recently that I am to get more into the coaching side of things so I can continue to help people bigger scale versus trying to model and do a ton of other things. So my biggest word of advice is to really listen to what God is trying to tell you thru small things to get you to the bigger picture.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I currently live in Hollywood, CA, and moved here about 3.5 years ago from St. Louis, MO! I own a boutique meal prep business named Meals by Maddie and also do nutrition coaching. I recently decided to add other sectors to my coaching business however with Love and Alignment coaching, so think self-love, purpose, and mindset. I also model here and there on the side and am working on my Youtube!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think for me three qualities that helped were perseverance, kindness, and positivity. Throughout my career I have experienced working for men who didn’t respect me, insane work hours/expectations, and have been treated poorly but I’ve never allowed that to lower my vibration + work quality. I truly believe that however you act to other people will reflect in the quality of future endeavors you are given.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
This current season of my life is definitely full of change, growth, and faith. I know people say we are constantly changing as individuals however I think it is our responsibility to grow in a nonlinear way. Lately I’ve been reading a lot and planning my next moves with my career, and will be moving to Orlando soon to be with my boyfriend! Which I’m super excited for and been mentally preparing for this new season but am excited to be with someone who can help and push me!
