Meet Madeline Eddi

We recently connected with Madeline Eddi and have shared our conversation below.

Madeline, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic is deeply rooted in the way I was raised. My parents always encouraged me to try new things—sports, food, classes, basically anything. But what they taught me before diving into my next new adventure was the responsibility that came with each new thing. Whether I learned that on my own or not is another story. That early foundation of curiosity, paired with accountability, shaped how I approach challenges today.

When I graduated high school, I enrolled in college like almost everyone else, but decided to drop out before classes even started, confident that the work ethic I developed growing up could take me further. That confidence in myself, the confidence that I could accomplish whatever I put my mind to, fueled my entrepreneurial drive and continues to guide me in building my career.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I founded Lavish Creative, a full-service creative marketing agency, in April 2024 with the mission to help businesses make an impact in their communities, lavishly. From social media marketing and content creation to email campaigns and strategic planning for business launches, we provide everything our clients need to tell their story authentically and reach their audience effectively.

What excites me most about what we do is helping business owners and creators bring their vision to life in ways that feel personal and meaningful. I love seeing a strategy come together that not only grows a brand but also strengthens its connection with the community around it. Every client is unique, and our goal is to make their marketing feel as special and distinctive as they are.

Right now, we’re expanding our services to offer more full-service content packages when it comes to organic digital marketing, so our clients can have a consistent, engaging presence without the stress of managing it all themselves. For anyone looking to grow their brand thoughtfully and creatively, we’re here to make it happen.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, these three things made the biggest impact on my journey.

1. Self-awareness: Really knowing myself, my strengths, and being honest (to others and especially myself) about when things didn’t go as planned. Owning those moments allowed me to learn and course-correct, rather than get stuck or discouraged.

2. Confidence: Not the kind that comes from feeling fully ready, but the kind that comes from deciding to take the leap anyway. Early on, I often didn’t feel fully prepared for the challenges I was taking on, but trusting myself and taking action anyway created the momentum I needed to grow.

3. I’ve learned that not everything lasts forever, and that’s okay. Opportunities, money, projects, people, come and go, and the key isn’t holding on as long as you can; it’s how you pivot and adapt. Being flexible and willing to change direction has allowed me to keep moving forward, even when things didn’t go as expected.

For anyone early in their journey, my advice is simple: cultivate self-awareness by reflecting on your wins and your missteps, build confidence by taking action even when you don’t feel ready, and embrace change as an opportunity to pivot, grow, and discover new paths. These three qualities together create a foundation not just for success, but for resilience.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?

Right now, my biggest challenge is getting out of my own way. As a business owner, it’s easy to feel like I need to do everything myself as well as do what feels most comfortable, but I’m learning that the real growth happens when I trust others and reinvest in the business—whether that’s hiring the right people, pursuing new opportunities, or putting resources into other areas that will create long-term impact.

It’s a process for sure, but it’s also exciting, because it’s teaching me how to scale thoughtfully and focus on the work that truly moves the needle.
