Meet Mae Riley

We recently connected with Mae Riley and have shared our conversation below.

Mae, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic comes from my parents, Bennie and Barbara Riley. They taught me the value of hard work. I am also self-motivated. I have always known what I wanted to achieve in life and what it took to get what I wanted. I did research and made plans to reach my goals.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am Mae Riley, also known as Mae O. Riley and Mae Ocie Riley. I wear many hats, but I am best known for modeling and entertaining. I am also a writer, speaker, actor, content creator, brand ambassador, entrepreneur, CEO, and President. I own Baby Girl Inc. and Mae Riley. Baby Girl Inc. is an international model and talent agency, media company, entertainment company, and PR firm that I founded in 2005. I also have plans to incorporate Mae Riley as part of my growing vision.”

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

My passion, knowledge of the industry, and networking skills have helped me on my journey. Passion comes naturally if you love what you are doing. I would tell those early in their journey to research the industry and make plans to achieve your goals and build your network by networking with those in the industry and related industries.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am looking to network with those in every industry. I am an open networker. We may be able to benefit one another or have someone we can connect the other with who can be beneficial. They say that your network is your net worth.
