Makayla , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
My purpose comes from wanting to have affordable makeup brands that also provide luxury. Luxury doesn’t always have to be expensive. Most Beauty products are expensive and I wanted everyone to create without breaking the bank.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
The Parislynn Collection is for anyone that creates art, anyway shape or form. I specialize in vegan, cruelty free, luxury products. I opened my brand in march of 2019. My brand has collaborated with small and micro influencers. One of the first small owned brands to do so, and we also have a foundation line. One stop shop to everything cosmetics, from lashes, lip combos, contour, and accessories.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Time Management, Multitasking, & Most Importantly Motivation. The advice that I have is consistency always keep going even if it doesn’t look like it’s working. Keep your faith and God and you shall never fail.
How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
Grief has been a challenge for the past 2 years. It is hard continuing to accomplish things in your life without the people you love the most.
