We were lucky to catch up with Manolo Alayeto recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Manolo, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?
Regret. That is the one thing that scares me the most about aging. We are all born with a gift. Some of us are too cautious and would much rather take that 9-5 so we can pay bills, save up for our children’s college, have stability, etc. But what happens if you get laid off from don’t really care for? In the words of Jim Carrey “You Can Fail at What You Don’t Want, So You Might as Well Take a Chance on Doing What You Love’
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
We are a music, performance and education academy. We tailor our lessons to each client using our Amped method. It’s a balance between music theory, ear training and artistic evolution. I believe our approach to music is what makes us so unique. We build trust and bonds with our clients. We always go the extra mile. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The ability to adapt, make quick decisions and listening to the market. Learn to execute and remember that movement is not progress. Test ideas, see which work best, rinse and repeat.

I’d love to partner up with a non-profit and/or theater and produce a musical. It’s definitely on my bucket list
