Hi Manuel, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.

My ability to take a risk has been within me ever since I was a kid. I would envision an idea and somehow the idea would align towards my goals. During COVID, it was a leap of faith getting into acting as a full time job switching careers. Even as I’m turning 30, I’m uncomfortable being comfortable. Now, I’m adding onto becoming a streamer live on Twitch (@heisnolo), which is a new adventure for me.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

What I do? So many things! I have a passion for art so I love expressing my emotions in acting, modeling and music. First off, I’m a full time background actor. Just recently, I just worked on the new season for the SWAT tv show starring Shamar Moore. This past weekend, I was invited to the 100 Thieves Blockparty event to meet the team and the esports community. Exclusively for VoyageLA, I’m debuting as a Twitch streamer! You heard it here first. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three skills that helped me in my career are networking, ambition and be a visionary. My advice is to ask a lot of questions to anything relating to your career and study the craft. The best way to develop it is to avoid overthinking and do the best quality of work you can put in.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Who I’d love to collaborate would be music artists from all genres ranging from Electronic music, Reggaeton or Pop. The list goes on! My next plan is to dive into the world of music and release a small EP. As we speak, I’m making music on an app called BandLab helping me practice and discover my voice style.
