Meet Manuela Ammendola

We were lucky to catch up with Manuela Ammendola recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Manuela with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Often I wonder where I get my decent work ethics from. Honestly I think it’s a threefold answer.
Part 1: I was raised with discipline and natural consequences by my german parents
Part2: I tool on the buddhist philosophy of living by the law of cause and effect.
Part3: it makes sense to do things well.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I became a florist on many detours.Being educated an artist, craftswoman, teacher and entrepreneur, I found a balanced combination in floral design. My expertise are very unique celebratory single floral pieces and teaching basic floral design to beginners.

1. the longing to be my own boss 2. working in a flowershop for 7 years prior
3. art back ground gave me knowledge and the freedom to express

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
I’d like to find peace wherever I am. I tend to want to be more in the countryside in nature and with animals. I’d love to be able to still visit old friends overseas and create even new memories. Ideally I like to have a lot of art making in my daily activities even when I am 80.
