Meet Mari Hashimoto

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mari Hashimoto a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Mari , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
This is a great question! Finding my purpose was a journey, and it continues to be. Long story short, I was in the high tech industry for the first half of my adult life. Although it was fun and challenging in its own ways, something was missing. I kept asking myself: “How is my work contributing to humanity in healthy ways?” I could never answer that. I eventually left the corporate world after a severe burnout, and began exploring what REALLY fed my passion – energy healing work and communicating with the Spirit world and animals, as it was something I’ve been naturally doing since I was four years old. The corporate burnout was a blessing, as it allowed me to take care of myself and return back to what really made me feel alive. I began to take all sorts of courses and learned different healing modalities and fine-tuned my psychic abilities. I began to reconnect back to myself. It took some time, but eventually I gathered the courage to open up my own intuitive healing practice, and soon I had clients asking me to teach them psychic development and energy healing. It is from here I discovered another purpose in my life: sharing and teaching what I’ve learned, so that others don’t have to learn things the hard way, or if they encountered a similar challenge, they have ideas on how to navigate through it (whether it is challenges in psychic development, relationships, abundance blocks, or health.)

Once I let go of trying too hard to “find a purpose”, I began living from a place of openness and curiosity to various experiences, and learning lessons that life sent my way…and that way of living somehow magically revealed what I needed to do next – and also to my next purpose. With the love for my work, I am making sure I am conscious of leaving a healthy, inspiring spiritual footprint in the lives of others that I connect with. As I continue to grow and evolve as a soul, I can feel my purpose will also evolve, and I look forward to the future.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
What I do through my work, is to facilitate a safe space to release blocks and heal wounds in people and in animals. These can be childhood wounds or other forms of trauma. Using my intuitive abilities, I look into how it is tied to your past lives (we all have had many reincarnations), to your soul family (those who are currently in your present life) and to your ancestors. The healing that happens, can go back seven generations and go forward seven generations. I’ve had clients where they were the only ones who had come in for a session, and the whole family felt a positive shift happen! When we heal ourselves, it can have a beautiful ripple effect sometimes.

One of the many things I look for in client sessions, is to find when the pain/block/challenge started, find the learnings within them, do any forgiveness work that the client is ready to do, and release anything that is no longer serving them in their soul contract so that they can move forward with their lives. The depth of the healing depends on how ready the person is to let go and heal, and only what is appropriate to be done at the time. It is only after a large amount of healing work is done, that I give intuitive guidance about the future. When we heal, our future can change quite drastically – in many positive ways. This is the most exciting and rewarding part of my work; I’ve been blessed to witness such wonderful shifts in people who put in the effort to heal and change.

In addition to private healing and intuitive reading sessions, I am currently teaching Sacred Partnerships – a course on how to create meaningful and authentic relationships. I am currently teaching Level 2 of this course, however those who wish to take the course can take Level 1 at their own pace. There are also many other courses available such as guiding psychic children and healing various ailments in the body that people can learn online, from the comfort of their home.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I would say my ability to fully dive into something, have the dedication and the motivation to see things to completion, and curiosity has lead me to where I am today. I am always motivated by what I do not know, and how to go about learning more about it to enhance my current skills or gain more experiences so I can be of better service as a conduit for the Spirit World.

The other thing is experience, which I find to be the most valuable. Through working with many clients over the years, I’ve started to map out and see common negative belief patterns and how they are created, how they are holding people back, and in what order to release layers of negative energies, outdated soul contracts and other things to gently untangle them from what was holding them back.

The advice I have for those who are just starting on their journey, is to find something that interests you, and allow your curiosity to lead you to the next thing. As you pursue things that interest you and bring you joy, you come to a point where you don’t compare yourself to others anymore. You become comfortable with who you are. You also discover your own uniqueness and that’s when things get exciting. Also, don’t fear what you don’t know. The right life experiences will come and will invite you to go on learning adventures.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
I would say being more open in sharing my life experiences and my learnings from them! I’ve been sharing a lot in the Sacred Partnerships course as I teach, especially things that I’ve learned from 23 years of being with my partner. I discovered that my students were so appreciative of my vulnerability and sharing what I’ve gone through, and in particular my recent experiences healing from cancer (the spiritual teachings from it, and how it positively impacted my relationship.)

I learned that sharing allows a connection to happen – not just at the emotional level, but at the spiritual level too. I shared on my social media that the doctor removed a heart-shaped growth from my body, which to me signified that everything has been healed and turned into the energy of love. Then a client of mine read my Facebook post, reached out and told me she saw in her meditations these divine beings placing a heart-shaped gemstone underneath my hospital bed, then retrieving the stone and taking it into the higher realms of the Spirit World and turning it into pure energy. It was such a wonderful confirmation, validating that this journey has been completed, and all the inner work I’ve done was turned into love. I am an extremely private person, but felt called to share my healing journey and so glad I did because it created such wonderful connections with my students and clients. What I experienced and what my client intuitively saw in her meditation, shows that there is something so much bigger than us out there working within divine realms. Like everyone else, I am still learning and closing my karmic lessons, and plan on sharing what I’ve discovered in future teachings.
