Meet Matic

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Matic. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Matic, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I believe my work ethic comes from really loving what I do, I believe passion is the main drive for me, that north star keeping me going.
At times I do exhaust myself and others, and may come off as too intense as some of my friends have expressed to me, but it is simply because I do believe and acknowledge every day that life is too quick for time to be wasted.
I’m not a sports person, love watching but never got myself into it, but when I study people like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, or any other Athlete that excels beyond the rest, disciple is the may component of their drive, and I try to demand the same as if I was also them.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am an artist and producer in Miami Florida. For me, the most special about what I do is that it is something I always wanted to pursue, but never did, like I did…. but not fully, I didn’t commit. Always felt shy about it and I am an introverted person, in addition to that the common thoughts of people judging and family not supporting just kept me at bay from taking that leap of faith. My brand as is it is developing little by little, with events I plan to perform more often and promote my music live, connecting with as many people as possible.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

resilience, passion and dedication. I believe that these qualities have marked me and made the person I am right now with my art.
The advice would be the same I would give to myself, you are closer than what you think to achieve what you want and all answers are within. To improve your skill, repetition would be your ally, talent can be achieved by fully practicing, rinse and repeat, which would later create and solidify your skill.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

Maintaining a healthy balance, I’m not prefect and like everyone I got flaws of my own. Sometimes I feel like the world is on my shoulders, stressed and wondering how am I going to deal with all the things on my plate? I know it is a blessing to have the burdens I got cause some would wish to be where I am at right now but, simply managing and balancing my life.
