Meet Matt Schumacher

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Matt Schumacher. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Matt, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

It’s been a long hard road. To make a long story short, I had an older woman that basically told me to man up.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I am currently a self-employed home-improvement technician. Although I’m very blessed to do what I do and where I do it, it’s not ultimately where I see myself in the next five years. I feel like I have more to offer to many other people. We live at a day at age where the Internet has drastically changed things and is a tremendous platform to launch from to expand and serve many other people. The gears in my head are constantly turning, and I wish to pursue those ambitions.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Patience, perseverance, and a good dose of humility. Self improvement is a journey that should never end and does not matter when you start (better late than never in my case). It can be quite a challenge to navigate sometimes. The willingness to do a personal inventory and character autopsy is essential. Your journey is unique to you and although it’s good to gather from the experience of others, remember, yours is custom tailored to you. Part of the process I’ve currently been in is knowing when and who to ask for help. That it itself is where the doors really start opening and taking it to the next level begins. Always be willing to learn new skills add humble enough to admit your shortcomings.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I absolutely am looking for people to partner and or collaborate with. I am looking for people who are in the publishing and media realm. I am also looking for somebody that could help me to streamline the intellectual property side of things
