Maxx Pain, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My Work ethic came from years of being observant to the processes that had to be done in my field of entertainment. For example I was signed to three independent labels before starting my Best Around Music imprint and from those three labels I would get pieces of how to do the process the right way from doing the meta data to the songs to the copy right process to which distribution is best they all never quite had it all together but it was enough for me to put all the pieces together. The only test with knowing everything is knowing it’s all not a one person job and if you don’t have the money to pay these people to do it you have to take it on yourself or wait for someone to do it for you if they ever. I formulated a plan at that point and although I had to do a lot the result would put me in the space I wanted so I went from music to films to boost the music sales and it worked like a charm. After writing the script, casting , finding locations, filming, doing lighting, editing to a finished film was worth every bit of the work, I was just crazy enough to do it again twice after that with another two coming.

My Name is Maxx Pain from Detroit, Michigan and I am a Rapper,Singer,Producer,Writer,Movie Producer, Actor, Director with Five Studio Albums on Digital Platforms (Maxx Pain Purgatory:Between Heaven, Maxx Pain Purgatory Between:Hell, Maxx Pain Dark Angel, Maxx Pain Angel Eyes , Fallen Dreamz From The Noise in Music Musical) and Three Feature Films on Amazon Prime and Tubi (My Hittas, My Hittas 2, The Noise in Music) . I’ve been pretty consistent on my brand for quite some time I have a mascot that goes everywhere with me with my company logo on his chest for many years now with the help of the films and my live shows my brand is thriving more than ever and growing a trustworthy fan base by the second. Everything will only get bigger in 2023 for Maxx Pain with two new films coming one called “Uncle Roommate” about a boy that grew up with his uncle as a youth before his uncle went to jail as a teen, but when he gets out as a grown man and is his roommate again things get a bit awkward in this non stop laughter comedy, and my second Film Gravel is a Super Hero Movie that is beyond belief with these powers never seen before , I also have a action Drama called “Flyer Run” along with a series for a feature film I previously released titled “The Noise in Music: Chapter 1” a Musical Drama Romance series with great music and amazing storylines like the movie. I have 2 Music Albums coming one called “ULEFTOSOON” and the other called “This may be it” both set for 2023 Releases . With my sneaker brand “Amera Malan” releasing in 2023 as well I’m certain I’ll be able to keep joy in households for a very long time.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The best advice I could give is to know the product is good, not believe, know the product is good cause if you know then your confidence will mirror the sales cause the no’s won’t even count to you the only words that will matter is yes. Know who your aiming to sale to cause everyone doesn’t like everything it’s different strokes for different folks. If you make a dollar you can make five hundred it all depends on understanding the consumer who gave you the dollar, it will help to pin point that kind of buyer.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’ve been in search of hedge funders and Angel investors for quite some time and not really understanding what I may have needed to provide to them I just knew labels or major production companies weren’t the only sources, so with having three films on Tubi TV and Amazon Prime and receiving substantial royalty checks and dumping it all into the next film and the next film waiting on returns quarterly to fully recoop to start the process over and begin profiting after full reimbursement. I want to make my films bigger productions cause the stories call for it and I’ve gained so much on my own dime I can imagine if funds come in to assist I can hire the proper staff and delegate to have a major film every time I roll em out. So if you are an investor and you are looking for somewhere to make a profit I am your guy with my Super Hero Film “Gravel” my Comedy “Uncle Roommate” my action Drama “Flyer Run” My Animated Film “The Morris Family” my two series a Action drama “My Hittas: Level A” and a musical Romance called “The Noise in Music: Chapter 1” , With mobile video game concepts for My Hittas cause the movie has been so successful on Tubi TVs platform the game would do excellent, a mobile game concept exist for the super hero movie “Gravel” as well along with a comic book for when the movie releases.
