Meet Maya Armony

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Maya Armony. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Maya, thank you so much for joining us and opening up about the very personal topic of divorce. So many in the community are going through or have gone through divorce and we think hearing about how others dealt with the aftermath and managed to build a vibrant, successful life and career despite the trauma of divorce can be helpful to many who might be feeling a degree of hopelessness. So, maybe you can talk to us about how you overcame divorce?
I’m actually in the tender midst of navigating divorce/separation as we speak—what I like to call my Quantum Crumble: the sacred unraveling of everything I thought was solid. It’s the breaking of illusion and the cracking open of deeper self-reclamation and alignment.

If you ask me this same question a year from now, I imagine my answer will carry an entirely new frequency. But for now, from within the chrysalis, here’s what I know:

There’s been a quiet pull, one that asks me to love myself so fully, so truthfully, that I no longer seek validation from anyone or anything outside of me. And yet, paradoxically, to stay open, wide open, for love to meet me halfway when it arrives.

But here’s the twist: I’m learning that love does meet us halfway…just not in the way we were taught.

Not through clinging.
Not through fixing.
Not through becoming someone’s missing piece.

Hallmark love, and even our own ancestral threads, wove stories of lack and longing, whispering that we’re incomplete without another. This illusion, deeply embedded has shaped how we bond, how we ache, and how we search for connection.

It’s time to rewrite and burn that script. Who’s with me?

The ancient Greeks spoke of Hieros Gamos—the Sacred Marriage—not just between two people, but the inner union of Divine Feminine and Masculine.
A wholeness. A remembrance. And from that place, love becomes reflection, not salvation.

What’s carrying me through right now is my absolute trust in myself and a Higher power, even as I step into the wild unknown.

I’ve been sitting with this lately, and I wonder if it lands for you too. So many of us, as women, were taught from a young age that a man would take care of us.
And to be clear—yes, I still desire support. We deserve to be provided for. We deserve to be held.

But not at the cost of our wholeness. Not if it means forgetting that we are already complete.
We can take care of ourselves. We were just conditioned to believe we couldn’t. We are our own saviors.

It’s our self-love that opens the door to the sacred marriage within—where you fall fully in love with yourself first. And everything that enters your life after that
is a divine blessing, not a bandage. A mirror of your wholeness, not a reflection of your lack or the trauma walls you built to feel safe.

This journey of discovering who I am without needing to be someone else’s other half is terrifying. And liberating. And profoundly alchemical. And I know, without question, that reclaiming my wholeness will change the trajectory of everything that comes next. When something is out of alignment, it doesn’t always scream. It whispers, gently, repeatedly, until you finally create the space to listen.

My ex-partner is a beautiful man with the biggest heart. This isn’t a story of someone doing me wrong. That made it even harder to admit that something deep inside me had shifted. On the outside, everything looked fine. But my inner compass was evolving, softly asking for something different.

We often stay to avoid hurting others, but the truth is, self-abandonment causes deeper harm. When we ignore our truth, we don’t just hurt ourselves—we block the growth and blessings meant for everyone involved.

Honoring your soul is never selfish. It’s sacred.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I began my career in branding, spending over 10 years helping small brands achieve big things by crafting cohesive identities and uncovering their unique voice. My work went far beyond logos and color palettes—I focused on capturing the true essence of each brand, using design, language and photography to tell their story in a way that felt deeply personal and visually resonant.

This approach became my trademark: connecting brands with their authentic audiences through genuine, heartfelt storytelling. But deep down, something still felt missing. The title “Brand Designer” was accepted by society (and my parents, HA!) and gave my ego a sense of validation as an artist. It looked good on paper, but it didn’t fully reflect who I was. I wanted to peel back the layers of my multi-passionate self. I wanted to explore the parts of me that didn’t fit into a box.

So I began to question everything I thought I knew…

Society doesn’t often celebrate those who disrupt the norm. I am a sacred rebel also known as a Creative Mystic. Sacred rebels are usually the ones overlooked, misunderstood, or labeled as too much—until they’re not. Until they remember who they are. Until they reclaim their power and realize they were never meant to fit in, because they were born to lead in a new way. What once felt like a burden becomes a blessing. The very thing that set them apart becomes the key to infinite possibility. To truly reach the many, you must first speak to the one. And my one is the soul who dares to rise as a sacred rebel—unapologetic, untamed, and deeply true to their own rhythm.

I was born in Toronto, Canada, and raised between California and Israel. I come from a Jewish background, the daughter of immigrant parents who came to America in the early ’90s to build the life of their dreams. My father is Israeli, my mother is Canadian. Oldest of 5 siblings, 2 are from my dad’s second marriage. I’m fluent in Hebrew and have lived in Israel for a total of 8 years—3 of them as a teenager, from ages 14 to 17, and 5 more as a young adult, from 24 to 28. The rest of my journey unfolded across California, moving through different area codes—West LA, Northridge, and finally Malibu. The crème de la crème of zip codes, each place shaping the artist within me and redefining what “home” truly means.

Living in Israel deeply shaped who I am. The Middle East is very different from America, and no matter where I went, I always felt like I stood out. In America, I wasn’t fully seen as American because I was Canadian. In Israel, I often felt more American than Canadian, my Canadian roots quietly run beneath the surface—sometimes so subtly that I forget they are there. Israel is a land of beautiful contradictions, a small country bursting with life and abundance, yet shadowed by tension and hostility. It awakened something inside me beyond words—a fierce, unshakable sense of freedom.

Living there taught me fearlessness and how to embrace each day as a sacred gift, always mindful of life’s fragility. It may sound intense, but when war can erupt at any moment, your entire way of moving through the world shifts. It’s a feeling that’s hard to put into words—you have to live it. As my friend Zack Parker says, “experience over explanation.”As you can tell…I’ve always danced between worlds, I’ve long been drawn to the mystical, the esoteric, and the wisdom of Buddhist philosophy. Deeply spiritual and endlessly curious. I love exploring the subtle threads that connect all things.

By 2020, I had been chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo for 5 years within the SGI Buddhist community. I began this practice in Topanga, CA, and in 2016, life took an unexpected turn. My father gave me an ultimatum—stop practicing what wasn’t Jewish or move out. I chose my path. I moved out and by 2017 that decision led me back to Israel—not as the version of me that he expected, but as a Buddhist, seeking truth on my own terms. What felt like rejection became a redirection into deeper alignment. As my jounrey unfolded, I discovered that there are many Jews who walk this Buddhist path, blending traditions in harmony.

Chanting became my anchor at the time, rooting me in faith, devotion, and community as a young woman on a seeking path. Yet, deep in my bones, I knew I wasn’t meant to remain within a single modality. I’m wired to gather, to synthesize, to transform. So I began to expand, exploring Reiki, Quantum Heart Healing, Light Language, Hypnotherapy, Breathwork, Somatic Movement, Tarot/Oracle Cards, Aromatherapy, Plant Medicine… each one a key unlocking a new doorway to truth and possibility.

Over time, what had once lived separately—branding, energy work, the light, the shadows, sacred curiosity—began to weave together, birthing a living, breathing expression of my evolution. I started carving my own path. At first, I felt alone. But gradually, I found others who also saw themselves as multidimensional beings, journeying beyond the boundaries of one story. These days, everything I offer acts as a sacred lens for transformation. I work with other Creative Mystics—whether they realize it yet or not. When our paths cross, it’s a cosmic activation, inviting deeper soul’s truth to be reborn a new. The Universe knows exactly when to bring us together!

When I hold Reiki Vision Quests, whether 1:1’s or in groups—we explore the soul’s landscape with intention, presence, and playful reverence. It’s a deep recalibration, a remembrance unfolding from the inside out. My virtual Quantum Energy Healing sessions connect me with soul family worldwide, showcasing that healing transcends distance when heart and soul align. Each session includes a custom-recorded meditation tailored to what your soul truly needs—not a rigid meditation formula. Inner work can be hard. It helps to have a trusted guide who supports you through both the bright and tough times. We often think we need to add more—more tools, more effort, more things—but real transformation comes from becoming empty, clearing out what no longer serves. Your path is about letting go and stepping fully into the power that’s already inside you.

For those ready to be truly seen, I hold Content Creation Ceremonies—infusing energy work into the creative process of photography, so your business becomes an authentic expression of your unique soul, not a mask to hide behind. My Divine Letters from the Sky are channeled love notes from your Higher Self, paired with hand-selected cards I designed, blending the mystic and the graphic designer within me. These are great when you need a little pick me up or when someone you love is going through a hard time and flowers or a frozen lasanga just won’t cut it. And for those who want their space to hold potent frequency, my Reiki-Infused Art Commissions are prayers painted with intention, coded with quantum numerology, rippling positive energy through your environment.

Every thread I weave—each session, image, and word, is a sacred devotion to one truth: You are your own healer. You are your own muse. You are the miracle you’ve been waiting for. You are a Creative Mystic. And, I am here simply to help you remember what your soul already knows as a mirror, as a guide, as a space holder who truly wants to see you thrive!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, the most impactful parts of my journey have been:

1) Emotional Resilience
Learning to move through grief, change, and uncertainty without abandoning myself.
Meeting my shadows with love instead of guilt, because truthfully, everything begins in the void.
Darkness births light. Don’t run from it. Let it reveal your beauty.

2) Creative Courage
Giving myself permission to try, even when I felt unqualified.
Speaking truths that no one validated, yet still choosing to stand in them.
When you lead from the heart, your people will find you.
If your content is met with silence, don’t lose hope.
You might just be ahead of your time, or need new soul-aligned friends.

3) Devotion as Sacred Curiosity
Following the invisible thread within, even when logic says turn back.
Let wonder lead. Play is productive; it literally boosts creativity, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
Science confirms what the soul already knows: joy is a portal.

*BONUS WISDOM*
From stuck to free: this is the shift that changed everything for me…
You are not your job title. You are not your current role. You are infinite.
You are designed to evolve. Let change be your teacher.
Even if you love the version of you that’s thriving now, give yourself permission to grow.

Try often. Experiment wildly. Mix what doesn’t “make sense.”
Blend the mystical with the practical.
The logical with the wild.
The structured with the sensual.
That’s where your magic lives!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes! I’m open to aligned brand collaborations that honor creativity, mindfulness, and purpose.

I love co-creating with brands, spaces, and organizations that see art and energy as tools for transformation. I’m especially drawn to partnerships with boutique hotels, sustainable fashion brands, wellness product lines, conscious studios, art spaces, and non-profits who are looking to bring more authenticity, hope, and color into their storytelling.

Whether through immersive content creation, Reiki-infused brand activations, or custom energetic artwork that enhances your environment, I blend the spiritual with the visual, creating experiences that connect with people on a deeper, more intuitive level.

If you’re a brand that believes in beauty, integrity, and impact, and you’re seeking a multidimensional artist to help bring your vision to life, let’s connect!
