Melchizedek, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

I come from deep in the struggle. I had to realize early on that nobody was coming to save me, i was all i had. This made me independant and resilient.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

At the moment im high level focused on my clothing brand “THE VIRGINIA VILLAINS CLOTHING COMPANY”. We are approaching our 5th year of commercial business on july, 2 2025. Also, i am opening a new location june 13, 2025!! I have been busy building out the 2nd location and getting it ready for the grand opening. I released an album on May 17, 2025, i had a live show with BENNY THE BUTCHER the same night! The music is available on all major platforms under “SIC MIC” pronounced “Sick mike”. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Consistence, persistence and that resilience that we mentioned earlier were all vital and very much impactful on my journey.

Discipline is the highest form of love one can show self. The ability to refrain from things that dont serve you well in order to achieve a desired result is key. Add focus and self enlightenment on whatever the topic/journey is to that cocktail and you will be fine.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

My number one issue at the moment is the fact that my vision is too big for my pocket. I am staying disciplined and putting in the work to make sure this issue doesnt persist. Everything happens on time.
