Hi Melissa, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I’ve never chase money although I do love it who doesn’t. My drive comes from always staying ahead of the game in my niche. I don’t ever want to become the company that falls behind. In my mind we are always behind and always running to stay ahead. This is what keeps our team going. We are always building and always adding on. I also think we master a pieces of our industry and I want something new to tackle.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
We are focused on helping as many restaurants or anyone in the F&B space as possible. With eatdrinkaz where I have over 300k in followers combined between all my platforms this is where I can come in and review a spot and it’s affordable. It’s instant traffic. With the agency we can takeover a restaurant’s FB/IG and they can completely walk away from it. It’s very exciting to help the F&B industry in whichever path they pick.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Easy! Look at your competitors and see what is missing in the market. Is it a space you can fill. If you aren’t an expert yet find one and have them teach you everything they know. I have done this my entire career.
Never stay comfortable. Comfort means you have mastered it. Stay ahead of trends
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
No book but i’m a Gary Vee junkie!
