Meet Melissa Bryant

We were lucky to catch up with Melissa Bryant recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Melissa, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I find my purpose by what I had to faced in my life. Going through trails and tribulations has push me into greatness and God gets the glory.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am an Inspirational and Enduring Author and Entrepreneur. I love sharing my testimony with encouraging others with hope, joy, love, peace and push. I write from the heart sharing my story faces many challenges including past experiences of molestation, rape, and physical and emotional abuse. I didn’t let this stop me from inspiring others. I want you to keep pushing no matter what comes your way. Writing is a gift. I am now working on my nonprofit organization focusing on helping others to heal. My cosmetic line will drop next month. Which I am exciting about that as well. I going around speaking at churches and host my own events. I am having an Red carpet & Book signing September 30, 2023 in Albany, Ga. I will be sharing my story with others. So they can see i don’t look like what I’ve been through.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I would say looking in that mirror and realizing I wasn’t okay. That’s when the healing started. Telling the younger Melissa I am sorry this happen to you in the mirror. Forgiving the people who this to me. That’s when I received my power back. Also receiving prayer and guidance from my belated grandmother and my mother. Once I faced the fact this happen to me. i wanted to help other people heal and proceed the dreams. It wasn’t easier but I was determined to be that role model. No matter what comes your way push past that pain. You can overcome anything if you put your mind to it. But you have to read your Bible that encourage me to trust God and keep striving. Take care of your health and exercised. Pray and listen to inspirational music it help me a lot. Be around positives people and inspirational people that helps a lot.

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
Pushing Past the Pain! Instead of being sad check your life. If you are convinced that you are right with God, then just hold on. Learn to stir up your confidence in God. He is never late. The pain you are going through is to bring you closer to God. We may not be grateful for the problem, but we thank God for what’s he’s accomplishing in us through the problem. I know that change will always bring something good into my life. I know am resilient, strong and capable of getting through anything. I know that the more quickly I accept or choose change, the less pain and hardship will be. I know I am connected to something bigger- my soul, my spirit, my higher self. When I was walking through my trails, I didn’t use my faith like I was supposed to. I was lost so I started looking for love in all the wrong places. My heart was searching for something, but I didn’t know what. The more I was going through my trails that’s when it hit me. I was trying to find out what my destiny was, and who I was as well as wanting someone to love me. But all this time God was right there, his love, grace, strength, mercy and support. I love him so much. I am here because of him, and I can’t live without him in my life. It’s been a long rough road but thank God I made it,
