Imposter Syndrome is something that we know how words to describe, but it’s something that has held people back forever and so we’re really interested to hear about your story and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

But let me be real with you—it’s not always as seamless as it seems.

In my world, where the pressure to maintain a polished facade is constant, I found that embracing honesty was the game-changer. Sharing the unfiltered struggles of my fitness journey, parenting trials, and navigating relationships created a space for genuine connections. It shattered the misconception that leaders must have everything under control.

Yet, honesty alone wasn’t the silver bullet. The real turning point was when I realized action was the missing piece of the puzzle. That’s exactly what happened when I decided to end a 17-year marriage that no longer aligned with my path. “Do it scared” became my mantra—a reminder that taking control of my life, though far from glamorous, was the only way to silence the impostor syndrome whispers.

At the core of my bustling world, I proudly wear the title of “mom” above all else. My three daughters are not just the light of my life; they’re the driving force behind everything I do. From the chaotic mornings to the bedtime stories, being their mom is both my greatest challenge and my most rewarding role. But my journey extends beyond the realm of motherhood; it intertwines with a dynamic professional life.

As the host of the Bomb Mom podcast, I open up conversations that go beyond the surface. The real magic happens as the Owner and CEO of the Busy to Bomb Fit Mom online program, a space where transformation is not just about shedding pounds but about rewriting the entire narrative of one’s life. It’s exhilarating to witness the impactful changes my clients create—changes that reverberate through their families, relationships, and, most importantly, their self-love.

What excites me most is the front-row seat I have to these life-altering transformations. Working with women and moms from every corner of the country, I guide them through the intricacies of their personal journeys. In January 2024, we’re gearing up to launch a game-changing initiative—the FREE 5-day Reignite Yourself Bootcamp. It’s a golden opportunity for individuals to kickstart their transformative journey, immersing themselves in a holistic experience that blends physical, mental, and emotional rejuvenation.

But that’s not all; we’re taking things up a notch by introducing the 30 Day Bomb Mom Challenge on a monthly basis. This isn’t your run-of-the-mill fitness challenge; it’s a comprehensive program designed to empower participants to embrace sustainable change. From workouts to mindful self-love practices, it’s a month-long immersion into the Bomb Mom lifestyle. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back on my journey, three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge stand out as pivotal to my transformation. First and foremost, resilience played a key role. Life is a series of challenges, and learning to bounce back from setbacks, whether in fitness or personal life, is crucial. My advice to those starting their journey is to embrace resilience as a skill that can be cultivated. Understand that obstacles are part of the process, and each stumble is an opportunity to rise stronger. Don’t let setbacks define you; let them refine you.

Secondly, self-awareness has been a game-changer. Knowing oneself, understanding strengths and weaknesses, and recognizing patterns of behavior are vital in the journey to personal growth. To those starting out, I recommend cultivating self-awareness through reflection. Take time to assess your actions, reactions, and emotions. Journaling can be a powerful tool in this regard. The more you understand yourself, the more effectively you can navigate challenges and make choices aligned with your goals.

Lastly, a willingness to learn and adapt has been instrumental in my journey. The fitness and wellness landscape is ever-evolving, and being open to new information and techniques is essential. To those beginning their journey, I advise maintaining a curious mindset. Stay hungry for knowledge, experiment with different approaches, and don’t be afraid to pivot when needed. Growth happens outside your comfort zone, so embrace the learning process with enthusiasm.

In summary, resilience, self-awareness, and a thirst for learning have been my guiding lights. For those at the outset of their journey, my advice is to nurture these qualities deliberately. View challenges as opportunities, cultivate self-awareness through reflection, and stay curious and open-minded. Remember, the journey is as much about the process as it is about the destination.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
Over the past 12 months, my most significant area of growth has been embracing vulnerability and authenticity. As someone deeply immersed in the fitness and wellness space, there’s often an unspoken expectation to present an image of unwavering strength and perfection. However, I’ve come to realize that true connection and impact stem from being real and unapologetically myself.

Sharing the raw, unfiltered aspects of my journey, both personally and professionally, has been a transformative experience. Opening up about my struggles, triumphs, and the messy in-between has allowed me to connect with my community on a deeper level. It’s created a space for others to see that it’s okay not to have it all figured out, and that vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness.

This shift towards authenticity has not only enhanced my relationships with my community but has also brought a newfound sense of fulfillment and purpose to my work. It’s a continuous journey, but the more I embrace vulnerability, the more meaningful the connections become, both in my personal life and within the broader scope of my fitness and coaching endeavors.
