Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Mesbelle. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
MESBELLE, so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?
Since a kid with big dreams and aspirations, I always knew I was born with ambition. I started my first business at 15, and I never really saw myself as different until I began stepping into rooms full of older, more seasoned individuals. At first, I was hesitant to tell people my age, thinking they might not take me seriously or give me a fair chance. And yes, I did face those moments, but instead of holding me back, it fueled my drive to work even harder. I wanted to prove that age is truly just a number. Now, after achieving some of my goals and pushing past those initial doubts, I’ve learned to take pride in being the youngest in the room. It’s a unique quality that sets me apart, and I embrace it fully.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Mesbelle is my artistic name and brand, I’ve been building since my younger years. and will continue too. Its a combination of my first and last name and being both Mexican and Gypsy, I’ve come to understand that Mesbelle signifies love. It embodies peace, love, unity, and respect—values that I carry across my three businesses: Mesbelle Partners, an independent management and design company; Mesbelle Gallery, art gallery; and Mesbelle Luxe, my fashion brand.
Keeping everything under Mesbelle is deeply important to me. It’s been with me throughout my journey, and even though there have been times when others, including past partners, have suggested I change it, I’ve held onto it because its a part of me. I’m protective of my brand and my identity. I believe it’s essential to stay authentic and never let anyone make you feel you need to shrink yourself down.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Reflecting on my journey with Mesbelle, three key qualities stand out: resilience, vision, and adaptability. Resilience has helped me overcome challenges, vision has kept me aligned with my brand’s core values, and adaptability has allowed me to embrace new opportunities. These qualities have defined my path, shaping Mesbelle into a true expression of who I am.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
As an independent businesswoman, I’ve built my companies with selectivity and intention. I’m dedicated to offering opportunities and opening doors for others, giving from the heart without expecting anything in return. My hope for the future is that celebrities, architecture firms, and others will discover and appreciate my work. For artists, love for our craft runs deep; even a single painting purchase or a supportive share means the world to us. I dream of future collaborations and connections based on love and genuine intentions.
