Meet Mi.Yayø

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Mi.Yayø. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Mi.Yayø below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Mi.Yayø with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My work ethic comes from being a product of my environment, in Miami, Fl! Fast pace city where you’ll learn you got to hustle more than relax to eat let alone live life. & also complements to the people who seem potential in me and didn’t let me slack. One of my daily affirmations questions is, “if I don’t do it, who will.”

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My name is Mi.Yayø [ my – yay ] which plays a representation to the city I was born and raised, Miami, Fl. I’ve always had a heart and ear for music, but also was a star football player. Growing up I was giving the advice to focus more so on one than the other to maximize the potential they knew I had and I chose football. After a great career that ended in depression, pushed me back to my true passion in music. Making music now for 3 years professionally, I’ve decided to stay on the independent wave along with my brothers “The Liferz” and also creating my own brand “Youth2Kingdoms.” Coming from my roots a lot of the decisions I set forth are apart of my manifestations and spiritual beliefs that’s allowed me to visualize and work toward the life I’m creating for myself everyday. All of which goes hand-and-hand from my artistic influence, to our “LGE” music group, to being CEO of “Y2K” that focuses on bring all together!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My personal 3 most important skills are – Work ethic
– Willing to learn
– Desire to complete

Of course many more that defines who I am, but those are the most noticeable in my eyes that has gotten me to where I am today!
For those who are early in their career of being a artist or even CEO. My advice to you is always keep your eyes and ears open. And also, see it for what it is and NOT for what YOU want it too be.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
When I start feeling overwhelmed, I just sit back to relax and clear my mind. Most of the time I take drives or walks to ground myself and be thankful for the moments and nows to help bring me back along with so recreational activities on which I don’t condone!
