Meet Mia Raymond, LMFT, CEDS-C

We recently connected with Mia Raymond, LMFT, CEDS-C and have shared our conversation below.

Mia , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

I believe everything single experience we have in life is an opportunity to learn from. I choose to anchor in this.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Branding humanity is always odd to me. I’m Mia and when I was a little girl my suitcase departure tags matched my name.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Curiosity, strength and presence.
Stay open to all the possibilities. We have the power to create our own path with relentless courage and self-reflection.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

These days I yearn to work with individuals who crave depth. If you’re feeling stuck, despite your perceived self-awareness and perhaps years of prior treatment, let’s go swimming together. The water’s warm and the journey is limitless. Come lay on my couch and daydream. I’m a strong swimmer; I got you.
