We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Mia Taylor. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Mia below.
Mia, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I didn’t find my purpose all at once—it revealed itself slowly. For a long time, I struggled to feel like I truly fit into traditional jobs. I knew I was capable and hardworking, but something always felt misaligned, as if I was forcing myself into spaces that didn’t allow me to show up fully or authentically.
During that season, I was also navigating a difficult moment as a mother when my daughter became sick. In searching for gentle, natural ways to support her healing, I turned to herbs and tea. What began as research and care for my child quickly became a daily ritual for me as well—one that brought comfort, balance, and a sense of grounding during an otherwise overwhelming time.
As I learned more about herbal wellness, I fell in love with the simplicity and power of tea. Sharing blends with friends and community opened my eyes to how deeply people craved moments to slow down and feel supported. That’s when everything clicked. I realized my purpose wasn’t just to make tea—it was to create intentional spaces for healing, presence, and connection through herbal rituals.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I create herbal tea blends and wellness experiences rooted in intention, education, and care. At the heart of my work is the belief that tea is more than a beverage — it’s a ritual, a pause, and a way to reconnect with ourselves in the midst of busy lives. Through my brand, Monet Infusionz, I blend herbs thoughtfully, focusing on both their therapeutic benefits and the emotional experience they offer.
What feels most exciting and special about my work is how accessible it is. You don’t need to be an herbalist or have a deep background in wellness to benefit from tea. I love helping people understand herbs in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming, and creating blends that support everyday needs like stress relief, rest, digestion, and nervous system balance. Seeing people slow down, ask questions, and begin to build their own rituals around tea is incredibly meaningful to me.
Community is also a big part of what I do. Whether I’m vending locally, teaching tea talks, or offering guided experiences, my goal is always to create space for connection — not just to sell a product, but to offer a moment of grounding and presence.
Currently, I’m expanding my offerings beyond tea blends to include more educational and experiential work. I’m developing an ebook, herbal tea classes/workshops, exploring corporate and community tea experiences focused on stress reduction and intentional connection, and planning new collaborations and seasonal collections. Everything I create is guided by the same intention: to support people in caring for themselves gently, naturally, and with more awareness.
At its core, my brand is about reminding people that healing doesn’t have to be complicated — sometimes it starts with a warm cup of tea and a moment to breathe.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back, three things had the biggest impact on my journey: curiosity, patience, and community-building.
First, curiosity. I gave myself permission to keep learning without needing to be an expert right away. I read, researched, asked questions, and stayed open to the wisdom of herbs and the people around me. For anyone early in their journey, my advice is to follow what genuinely interests you and let yourself be a beginner. Curiosity creates momentum, and depth comes with time.
Second, patience. Growth didn’t happen overnight. There were seasons of uncertainty, slow progress, and learning through trial and error. Staying committed even when things felt unclear made all the difference. For those just starting out, I encourage focusing less on speed and more on consistency. Small, intentional steps add up in ways you can’t always see in the moment.
Third, community and connection. Sharing my work—whether through tea, conversations, or classes—taught me the power of listening and building relationships. My brand grew not because I tried to be loud, but because I stayed rooted in service and connection. For others, I’d say don’t build in isolation. Find people who inspire you, support you, and challenge you to grow, and be willing to show up authentically within your community.
Overall, my biggest piece of advice is to trust the process. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. Stay curious, stay patient, and stay connected—and allow your work to evolve as you do.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Yes, I’m always open to thoughtful collaborations that feel aligned in values and intention. I love partnering with individuals and brands who care deeply about wellness, community, and creating meaningful experiences. This includes yoga and movement studios, wellness practitioners, creatives, small businesses, and organizations that value slowing down, nervous system support, and intentional connection.
I’m especially interested in collaborations that center education and experience—such as tea talks, workshops, pop-ups, retreats, corporate wellness offerings, and community events. I also enjoy working with creatives and spaces that want to integrate tea into their offerings in a more intentional way, whether that’s through curated blends, in-store experiences, or private-label projects.
For anyone interested in collaborating, the best way to connect is through my email– [email protected] or social media. I’m always excited to hear ideas and explore ways we can create something thoughtful together. At the end of the day, I believe the most meaningful work happens when people come together with shared values and a genuine desire to serve their community.
