Meet Miah Giavonni

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Miah Giavonni. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Miah below.

Miah, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

I truly believe my optimism is a gift from my family. I come from generations of storytellers, educators, and entrepreneurs who faced obstacles and hardships with resilience and an unwavering commitment to finding the light through every tunnel. Their ability to rise above challenges has shaped my perspective and inspired me to carry on that legacy.

It takes a remarkable strength to never give up, and I believe optimism is the foundation for shifting your mindset and embracing personal growth. I’ve seen firsthand how things have a way of working out, even when the path ahead seems uncertain. So, why wouldn’t it all come together again? Why can’t I? Why can’t you? Why can’t we?

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a storyteller, creative producer, and casting professional from the east side of Atlanta, Georgia. I come from generations of artists and storytellers and have always been deeply fascinated by all forms of art—whether visual, theatrical, cinematic, musical, or dance—regardless of the medium. My goal is to create opportunities to tell uplifting, impactful, and unique stories, connect talent both in front of and behind the camera, and curate memorable experiences that bring communities together. Above all, I am a proud daughter, sister, partner, auntie, godmother, niece, cousin, and friend.

I am currently focused on building a strategic, creative community that integrates wellness and lifestyle. I’m excited to launch new content, events, merchandise, and culturally transformative resources designed to inspire and empower every kind of Black creative. This endeavor is not just about storytelling but about creating spaces that nurture holistic growth, foster collaboration, and celebrate the richness of our culture. Through these efforts, I aim to deepen my connections and amplify opportunities for my kind of people to thrive.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

First and foremost, give yourself grace. Prioritize connecting with yourself and showing kindness inwardly before extending it outward. Cultivate a wellness routine that feels authentic to you—whether it’s a morning meditation, a nighttime prayer, or a midday moment of stillness. Create space to align with God and your purpose. The clarity that comes from these moments will guide your steps and shape the way you move through life.

Second, find your village and be a great friend back. Surround yourself with people who challenge you to grow, support your dreams, and expand your perspective. Ask yourself: Who are my friends? Am I the smartest person in the rooms I’m in? Do these people inspire my evolution? Diversify your circle. Seek out elders for wisdom, friends who share your faith, and companions who will celebrate with you, explore the world alongside you, and show up for your ambitions. The right community sets the foundation for every relationship you build. Trust me—when you find your people, you’ll know.

Finally, trust and enjoy the process. Don’t rush to the destination; instead, savor the journey. Take your time, but always be prepared. Be ready. Be punctual. Stay present. Pay attention to when it’s time to make a move and when it’s time to pause. When you’ve invested in grace for yourself and cultivated a strong village, navigating this process becomes less daunting and more rewarding. Believe that everything meant for you will find its way. Keep the faith—it’s all working out.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Absolutely, I’m always open to partnerships and collaborations, especially with individuals or organizations that share a passion for storytelling, creativity, and uplifting the Black community. I’m particularly interested in working with creatives, wellness advocates, entrepreneurs, and cultural innovators who are dedicated to creating meaningful, transformative experiences.

If you’re a storyteller, producer, artist, or thought leader looking to connect through content creation, events, merchandise, or community-driven initiatives, I’d love to hear from you. Collaboration is at the heart of everything I’m building—a strategic, creative community that integrates wellness, culture, and connection to elevate Black creatives and their work.
