We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Michael Benz a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Michael, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
Be a kind person and see the joy in all things. Many times we get inspired bye others and events that take place either in our own life or right in front of us inspiration is all around us you just have open your eyes to see it.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As a creative director I specialize in custom painted apparel, illuminated garments and manufacturing services for brands. Our mission is to push our illuminated apparel brand “NEON MOON STAR”. This brand focuses on glowing battery powered corsets,jackets,vests and more. We understand that nightlife is a major part of the culture and we want to serve the festivals goers, nightclubs and other after hours events. Our services will offer a variety of glowing products that range from logos to phrases we come up with. Each product different and will resonate with all night owls that go out for fun!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming.
