We recently connected with Michael Bunch and have shared our conversation below.
Michael, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?
I would say it came from the cards i was dealt in my life. it started right out of high school. I entered air force and took leadership roles. then just after my last child was born in 2002 i fell down walking down my hall way and couldn’t get up i was paralyzed from waste down. .they took me to hospital and misdiagnosis me that i was going to die in 18 weeks. shook my world. after further studies i had stage 4 non hodgeskins lymphoma with a high t cell. i took chemo then radiation and had to learn to walk again because treatment was working. came out all super holy and working out trip then cancer came back 2 years later did chemo again clinically died twice and stem cell transplant. once again treatment worked again. i worked with Edison in between and after the medical treatment. i was on special projects and familiar with distribution transmission and sub station. after us not seeing eye to eye i left and started my own business with print shop. i also started a flag football league after my first battle with cancer to leave a legacy. we started with 60 kids and grew to the biggest league in southern California of over a 1000 kids and multiple cities. i then grew a large network and ventured off to several different businesses that i currently have. i realized thru all this people all need a little help i pride my self on helping others start or level up there ideas or businesses. i believe in scripture Mathew 25:31-41 that we need to be there for each other and lift them up. I do have a tendency to give to much at times or at least that is what i am told. but i get blessed in so many ways it doesn’t matter. we only die once and should live everyday. life is about moments and our perspective on it. there is always a way to make better. things always work out. so in short thru my journey in life i learn to be selfless and giving you never know the impact you could make or the minor change you made in the world
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
