Meet Michael Wholey

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Michael Wholey. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Michael, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I am from a family of athletes where you need to develop skills by playing aggressive, being extremely competitive, and have a strong work ethic. In our house, you had to have thick skin and be emotionally strong. Over my life, I have faced obstacles personally and professionally and overcome all the obstacles that have got in the way. I get my resilience from competing on the court and a strong desire to be successful.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
We are a full service media company that offers photography, video production, aerial drone, social media content creation and management, website design and maintenance, and marketing / branding services. Our speciality has been assisting real estate agents/brokers with media for their residential and commercial listings as well as assisting business owners and professionals market, grow, and scale their brands.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three qualities / skills that have been most impactful along my journey are: 1) Strong work ethic – I go above and beyond for my clients delivering quality media for quality pricing.
2) Strong communication / customer service – I am personally invested in my clients and their business and want to see them grow and get a return on their ROI.
3) Creative thinker with a problem solver mindset – I think outside the box and can evaluate what a business professional or owner needs and help them execute it.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?
An ideal client would be a business that is doing $1 million or more and wants to grow. They have a marketing budget but do not feel like they are spending their money wisely or want to change or take their marketing to the next level. For clients like this, we can put together a comprehensive marketing plan incorporating photography, video production and social media.
