We recently connected with Michaelia Nobles and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Michaelia, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from a combination of faith, life experiences, and the support of people who have been there for me through tough times. Faith plays a huge role for me believing that there is a purpose in every challenge and that God gives us the strength to overcome this has helped me push through even when I felt close to giving up. My journey, filled with obstacles and growth, has also been a teacher, showing me that resilience isn’t about avoiding struggles but learning to face them with courage and grace.
Another source of my resilience is the strong connections I’ve built along the way. Friends, mentors, and family have been pillars of support, reminding me that I don’t have to face everything alone. They have encouraged me to keep going, to see my worth, and to recognize that setbacks can be steppingstones. Embracing these connections and leaning on them when I need to have reinforced my inner strength and allowed me to approach each new challenge with hope and determination.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I’m Michaelia Nobles, an author and the voice behind the empowering podcast Just Keep It Real. My mission is to inspire, uplift, and bring about transformation in the lives of others. Through my work, I aim to connect with people on a deeper level, offering not just encouragement but practical tools for healing and growth. My book, Pain Raised Me but Trauma Healed Me, dives into my personal journey and serves as a testament to resilience and recovery.
The special thing about my brand is its authenticity everything I do is rooted in keeping it real. I believe in sharing the highs and lows, the struggles and triumphs, to show that transformation is possible for anyone. Whether it’s through my writing or podcast, my goal is to help others see their worth, discover their power, and embrace the possibility of a brighter future.
Currently, I’m expanding my efforts to reach more people. I’m returning to YouTube as an author, using the platform to share my journey, insights, and behind-the-scenes of what it means to create work that inspires. Additionally, I’m working toward getting involved in the theatre scene, which is a new way I hope to express creativity and connect with others.
If there’s one thing, I’d love for people to take away from my work, it’s that change is possible, healing is attainable, and your story no matter how challenging the power has to inspire others. My brand isn’t just about me; it’s about building a community where people feel seen, heard, and empowered.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are faith, vulnerability, and perseverance. Each of these played a significant role in shaping who I am and how I approach both challenges and opportunities. Lead with faith and embrace vulnerability. Trust the process, even when it feels uncertain, and don’t be afraid to share your struggles. It’s in those moments of honesty that you’ll find connection and strength. And always remember that setbacks are setups for comebacks. Stay resilient, and never lose sight of the impact your story can have on the world
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
Over the past 12 months, my biggest areas of growth have been confidence and my faith.
Building confidence has been transformative it’s allowed me to fully step into my purpose as an author and podcaster. I’ve learned to trust God Will and allow him to use my voice and my story, to do something meaningful in the world. Confidence has given me the courage to share my journey unapologetically, knowing that it has the power to inspire and uplift others.
At the same time, my faith has deepened in ways I didn’t anticipate. It’s been my foundation, helping me navigate challenges with a sense of peace and clarity. Leaning into my faith has strengthened my ability to see beyond obstacles, stay grounded in my purpose, and trust that everything is unfolding as it should.
This combination of confidence and faith has not only improved how I show up in my work but also in how I connect with others. It’s been a year of stretching, trusting, and stepping boldly into the person I’m meant to be.
