We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Micheal Manning a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Micheal , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
Promoting exceptionally skilled and very talented individuals is my true passion. I possess extensive knowledge regarding the importance of strategic planning in achieving success. This applies to various forms of talent in the various entertainment industries, including the clients like Horse ‘ El Caballo ‘ Wren who stars in movies, television shows, and Jovie Da Don 7 R.I.A.A Top 100 iTunes and Amazon Music hit song. “Stack Yours” Creating a groundswell serves as the foundation upon which we start to attract the attention of our target consumers.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Each morning, I rise with the intention of finding strategic ways to support my clients in their pursuits. At night, I reflect on how to integrate fresh strategies to implement these ideas. In fact, beginning anew is what anchors me and maintains my focus.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three main rules I keep reminding myself of. One: my reason for starting in the field of marketing others. Two: stay having fun and never ever procrastinate when the ideas are flowing. Three: Remain a professional of integrity and humility to better serve my clients in these different entertainment industries.
Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
I take a step away from the perverbial drawing board. Until I feel the ideas beginning to form again. Taking a breather is a necessity when you have a timeline and it’s crunch time. To best deliver on the plans discussed with a client or clients.
