Michele, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
When I first became a licensed real estate agent, I had an incredible mentor who gave me a bunch of great advice. Perhaps the BEST advice I received was; never talk badly about the market. There is always an opportunity for a client regardless of economic factors.

Though I wasn’t entirely sure exactly what she meant at the time, I learned really quickly that what she meant was; positivity breeds positivity. AND regardless if it’s a buyers OR a sellers market, there is an opportunity for the right client in any market. Negativity turns people off, big time!

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
As a trusted advocate, Michele’s position is to provide aggressive representation and acquire the best package of benefits. Client needs are #1. She continually works to improve her professional abilities and provide clients with accurate information, prudent advice, and prompt action. Protecting buyers’ and sellers’ financial investment is a priority. As a local expert, she is committed to her career. Her mission is to become business partners with her clients, who often develop into lasting friendships.

Systems are in place to provide focused strategies, cutting-edge technology, and innovative marketing, which define Michele’s competitive advantage. Her social media presence is strong! Michele’s negotiating skills have benefited many clients over the years. Accountability and creativity count. Mediocrity is not a part of her vocabulary! You can expect nothing short of extraordinary service. Michele’s goal is to out-perform the competition, provide exceptional customer service to her clients, and stay ahead of the industry’s ever-changing demands. She is proudly celebrating her 9th year as a Broker Associate and REALTORⓇ in 2024!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Humility has been such a strong lesson as I’ve grown personally and professionally. Really understanding and embracing the concept that we ALL are, in fact, replaceable, was key to my development.

Second, but no less important, was living by with the mindset of abundance, not scarcity. Competition is everywhere. Sometimes it’s incredibly healthy. Many times, it produces unintentional blind spots. Truly embracing there is “enough for everyone” has been a true game-changer for me.

Last, staying positive has been extremely powerful. It very much helps to realize what’s within our control and what’s not. Similarly, it’s helpful to take accountability for things that we can control and be open to growth as well as feedback from others. The law of reciprocity is wicked powerful to those who can remain positive, in my experience.

To this end, being mindful of the above can be really effective as you hone in on your skills and build. The sooner, the better! The sooner, the faster one might arrive to a place where they thrive 🙂

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?
I absolutely LOVE, and often refer, the book “The Compound Effect” by Darren Hardy. The overlying principle of the book is; change takes time, and nothing changes overnight. Yet of we look to make a series of small changes over time, we can gain massive momentum before we know it.
