Meet Michelle Mclean

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Michelle Mclean. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Michelle below.

Michelle, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

I truly believe my confidence was gifted to me since birth. I am an extrovert for certain. I am shocked by meeting so many women who are CEO’s that run very big businesses who are predominantly
introverts. My self esteem had to be developed over the years. I have had to go through many medical issues so self esteem is always a work in progress.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I love working with small businesses and collaborating with them in an innovative way. My services include photography, video interviews and generating ideas for a fun way to see their products/services in action.

2025 will be a huge year for me! I am currently writing my autobiography and it will be released in 2025. This book has been quite the journey. This started out as an idea during a network event with The Boss Ladies Referral Crew and now it has been coming to life!
I am constantly learning new things.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

My journey started in 2006 starting my own photography business, then adding wedding planning. My business doubled in profit each year but had to end due to my Muscular Dystrophy that was evolving quicker. I the moved on to blogging and that did not take off but it taught me how to create a website by myself. Now I use the skills above along with 20 years in business to help other small businesses to succeed and have fun. My advice is to continue learning, find your community and if you are not having fun with what you do, why are you doing this?!

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

My current challenge is learning book legalities, transitions and to develop my content so you as readers can truly feel all the emotions. So rewriting and stepping back for a few weeks is what I need to do to ensure my book with be the best I can make it and launch it. I am making some magic happen.
