We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Michelle Moore. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Michelle below.
Michelle, so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?
I decided to be myself. I was invited to the room for a reason. I love who I am and I believe I can always bring a different perspective to any conversation.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Michelle Moore is a fun loving, mother of two who resides in Texas. She is a Life Coach, Public Speaker, Author, International Podcaster and Retreat Host. Michelle is transparent in her prayers and in her daily conversations with people. She loves to laugh and enjoys encouraging people to be authentic in their walk with Jesus. As a Believer, Michelle is focused on the bigger picture and is living life one day at a time while paying close attention to the voice of God. She is described by her friends as an amazing, faithful, courageous woman of God. Her determination and passion make her a champion of our Lord. Her life verse in this season is Isaiah 61:7, “Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.”

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Willingness to learn, resilience and optimism.
Start!!! You can’t fix what you haven’t started.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
I recently got married. I changed my name and discovered that a new identity was being made. Initially it was a bit scary now I’m embracing all of it and I’m really excited about it.
