Hi Michelle, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
My purpose found me as much as I found it. After my son passed away in 2018, I had the same internal dialogue as people do after a life-altering event. How do I keep living? After deep introspection, I realized my passion lies in helping others awaken to their potential. I first had to create a space for my own transformation. Over time, my purpose became clear: to support individuals and businesses in integrating spiritual and ethical principles into their paths. It’s an evolving process, but at its core, it’s about alignment with what feels most authentic to me.”

What excites me the most is witnessing those moments of realization when students begin to see how universal laws and metaphysical principles can be applied practically. Whether it’s an entrepreneur using energetic alignment to grow their business, a family member fostering healthier relationships through deeper awareness, or an individual breaking through limiting beliefs to find personal fulfillment—every breakthrough is a testament to the power of this work.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Having a strong mentor is essential in this work. Too often, people seek out the nearest guru, only to realize that the guru lacks a solid foundation in these teachings. One key question to consider is whether they truly live what they teach. Do they engage in gossip or allow their students to neglect fundamental principles? Do they embody peace and spiritual integrity, or do their actions suggest that they prioritize personal distractions over guiding others in their spiritual growth? A true mentor leads by example, demonstrating alignment between their teachings and their way of life.
What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
I am currently facing funding difficulties in the current climate. The threat of government funding cut-offs has led to increased competition for grants and donations, particularly for new nonprofits. Additionally, economic uncertainty affects donors’ willingness to contribute, and limited initial funding makes it challenging to scale programs and outreach. A key factor exacerbating this issue is visibility—as a fledgling 501(c)(3), reaching potential donors, students, and partners remains a hurdle, impacting our ability to secure sustainable funding.
To address these challenges, I have taken a diversified funding approach:
1) Developing multiple income streams, including our apprenticeship program, Enlightened Business Hub, and Resonant Essentials Metaphysical Guild of Ethical Practitioners, a membership program certifying the authenticity and integrity of its members.
2) Seeking strategic partnerships with aligned organizations and businesses to expand reach and credibility.
3) Applying for relevant grants and actively cultivating relationships with potential donors.
4) Enhancing visibility through targeted outreach, community engagement, and digital marketing strategies to attract both financial support and participation.
By focusing on these strategies, we aim to build a strong foundation for long-term sustainability and growth.
