Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to MIGE. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
MIGE, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I believe i found my purpose digging deep inside of me, after a long introspective journey that took me almost 3 years of digging, i founded out that was the inner child who had the answers, i don’t know if this makes sense but it seems like i always knew what my purpose was deep in me, since i was a kid.
Thinking of me as the dreamer kid that i was, seeing myself from the outside and embracing “what the child wanted” made me realize that my purpose was that exciting thing that i always did just for fun -hiding- alone in my room.
My purpose was always communicating, specially with music.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Since my first single “PELIS” came out in early 2024 i started feeling the need to create more and more music, “NO CONTROL” my second single was a step forward when it comes to the quality of the sound and the musical production so right now I’m really focus on the music that i’m creating. I’m involve in everything the sounds, the vibe, the aesthetics, i’m really involve in the whole creative process of this musical era for me, looking forward to keep up the good work in the next singles and finally release my first studio album soon this year.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Being an insecure i was really suffering the early stage of my musical journey LOL but after a lot of tears i found comfort in one things:
Studying: i set my mind in this “amateur mindset” that allowed me to make mistakes without feeling bad for it -because i’m still learning- and it kept me opened to learn, like i was in school again, not only from a lot of the content available on blogs, YouTube, etc. which i was really using to develop and improve my skills but also from others struggling like me, anyone can teach you a lesson, both winners and losers, and you can always teach something “to yourself” if you really want to learn, knowledge is now available for everyone thanks to internet.
The second advice i can give to anyone who wants to accomplish anything in this world is: TRUST YOUR GUT!
that is the world’s best advice and it never fails.
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
Instead of “who” it has been a “thing” LOL without a doubt THE INTERNET has been the most helpful in helping me overcome challengers or build skills to go thought this musical journey that is so new for me.
I’ve been not only learning a lot about musical production on the internet but also meeting with other artist near me with similar projects, struggles and dreams. I believe that being connected has open up the doors for independent artist like me -on a whole new level- to build a community, found opportunities and reach an audience anywhere in the world, you don’t even need to speak the same language anymore.
Music is universal now no matter the language.
