Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Miguel Brown. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Miguel, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?
My generosity is part of my upbringing, my education, and cultivating great values of friendship.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, into the green and humid morning,
with a deep soul and a dream in every breath…
I have a degree in Visual Communication | Altos de Chavón / The Design School Dominican Republic | 1992 | 1995.
Interior Designer | Pedro Henriquez Ureña University Dominican Republic | 1987 | 1991.
I developed my professional career in the Dominican Republic, at the following companies:
D’Lemos Interior Design, Constructora Langa, Leo Burnett, and Young & Rubicam.
There, I developed several projects for different accounts: Procter & Gamble, Marlboro, Beech-Nut,
Green Giant, among others.
In Spain, I worked at Prisma Grupo and Fraile y Blanco, as Creative Director.
During these years, I have developed projects for the following accounts: Santander City Council, Valdecilla Hospital,
the Environment Department, the General Directorate for Women, Navarra Health, the Pinta Group, Globaldecó,
Original Country, Next Decoración, the Spanish Bed Association, Pikolín, among others.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three skills that influenced me the most were discipline, perseverance, and patience.
My advice:
Listen, visualize, be consistent, and have a lot of patience. Timing is always perfect.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My Mother Sacrificed everything for me.
