Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to MikeAnthony Torres. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
MikeAnthony, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
I found my purpose based on how I was raised by my mother! She taught me at an early age to give back and to help others no matter what. I have established a company to where we host some of the biggest festivals and events in my city and we include a nonprofit organization to help raise money and awareness for their foundation.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Within the last year, I have added more festivals and events to our company brand. For those who don’t know, our company is All Access Promotions & Entertainment and we’ve been in business for 11+ years and excited with the direction we are moving towards. Next year we will have 10 active festivals which include the following food items from brunch, to pizza, to sweets, to burgers, to chicken wings, to Mexican candy, to margaritas, to BBQ, and more! The fun part of this is that I get to meet several local business owners and help them promote their business in front of hundreds to thousands of people. And at the same time, we pick a local nonprofit organization to give back a portion of the proceeds to their foundation. Before the end of the year our goal is to launch our All Access Season Pass which will give a customer the ultimate VIP experience at a low monthly cost to every single festival or event we host. And they will be rewarded with FREE trips to Vegas, Miami, Cancun, etc. and get special discounts on our party bus and limousine services.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I believe you have to be bold and transparent with who you are and what your vision is for others to understand what you are trying to accomplish. The best advice I would give is, be who you are and be happy with what you are doing. Have a true passion for what you do in life because with that passion you will see success. Don’t chase money, cars, or anything like that. Take the time to develop your communication skills and learn to build relationships with others. if you do chase anything in life then chase who you want to become in the next 3-5 years. Always, always, chase to be better than what you were! Make sure you surround yourself with winners and with people who are smarter than you.

As our company, All Access Promotions & Entertainment, continues to grow we would love to collaborate with more local or corporate businesses.
