Meet Miles Woodworth

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Miles Woodworth a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Miles, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

Over the last five years, I’ve been building a new chapter of my life—diving into travel videography and photography alongside my partner, Raya, an incredibly talented photographer.

Traveling the world has done more than inspire my creativity—it’s opened my eyes and mind to the beauty of how others live, what they value, and what truly matters.

Backpacking for months at a time strips life down to the essentials. It challenges me to live with only what I can carry and forces me to stay sharp, adaptable, and present.

We’ve experienced countless moments that are chaotic, raw, and breathtakingly beautiful. And through it all, one of the things I value most is the chance to briefly step into the lives of people from all walks of life—to witness their stories, even if just for a moment.

This journey continues to shape not just how I create, but how I see the world.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m Miles Woodworth, a videographer with over a decade of experience capturing dynamic, story-driven video content for businesses around the globe. Based on the beautiful Seacoast of New Hampshire, I’ve dedicated years to honing my craft and helping brands express their identity through cinematic visuals.

My passion for visual storytelling fuels a lifestyle of exploration. I spend nearly half the year traveling the world with my partner, Raya—an incredible brand photographer who often joins me on shoots. Together, we aim to bring fresh perspective and creativity to every project.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me chasing new experiences and diving into corners of the world I once only dreamed of.

Grateful doesn’t begin to cover it—I feel incredibly lucky to do what I love every day. And I’m excited for whatever comes next on this creative journey.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Some of the values I live by are working hard, staying positive, staying focused, truly listening, and most importantly—never giving up on what you love. If you’re passionate about something, pursue it with everything you’ve got.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

As strange as it sounds, when I’m feeling overwhelmed, I grab my laptop, put on my headphones, and dive into editing a creative project. I always have a million ideas swirling around in my head—so I pick one and just start. It grounds me and brings me back to what I truly love: creating meaningful video content purely for myself.
