Hi Minister Ryan ( Monique), so happy you were able to devote some time to sharing your thoughts and wisdom with our community. So, we’ve always admired how you have seemingly never let nay-sayers or haters keep you down. Can you talk to us about how to persist despite the negative energy that so often is thrown at folks trying to do something special with their lives?
In my life I have over come so many obstacles, and one thing that is still very present is the fact I still have haters! They won’t go anywhere! Despite my past I still I get haters all day long. I get judged for my shape my weight and lifestyle. I absolutely love what I do and serving God. I’m a prophetic dancer and often am told that because of my size I shouldn’t do what I do
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I’m a Prophetic Minister Of Movement,
I have been praise dancing for over 20 years, I serve as Dance Leader at International Kingdom Ministries under the leadership of Dr Erika.M.Toney & Dr Adrian.D.Toney Jr. I love what I do. Dancing is more than a passion it’s a lifestyle. Worship has healed my broken spaces. God is doing doing some amazing things through dance ministry
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three things that I’ve learned, to keep God 1st, Trust God through and with everything, and love through my pain.
Best advice I can give is for people to really push through and know God has your back.
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
My Pastors has really been the driving force behind everything I do. I thank God for their prophetic insight and guidance without it I wouldn’t have made it. They challenged me to change my perspective
