Meet Miranda & Eddie

We were lucky to catch up with Miranda & Eddie recently and have shared our conversation below.

Miranda & Eddie , appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

Both of us are always coming up with new ideas, products, etc. We bounce ideas around, combine ideas, trial and error until we get it right. We are lucky to have almost endless options to let our creativity flow and run wild.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

We make all natural skincare products, we make things like bar soap, body sprays, body washes, beard oils and sugar scrubs! We are a sensitive skin household and love being able to make something for all skin types and ages. That’s always our goal, to make products that are safe and fun for all skin types and all ages! We, as of November 2nd 2024, launched our Christmas bar soap collection which will be available through December 31st, we are also accepting Christmas custom orders through December 17th! We do custom orders year round on bar soaps, body sprays and body washes!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

One piece of knowledge is always always stay true to who you are. Be authentic with your audience/customers/clients. You will find your group of people that will support you for being exactly who you are. Qualities, I feel like because we are a sensitive skin household we are able to test and understand more about natural skincare than some people that don’t have such sensitive skin, which is also knowledge! Another piece of knowledge is you or your business will never be able to be everybody’s cup of tea. We learned that quickly, and early. Everybody is different and somebody, somewhere, isn’t going to appreciate whatever it is that you do. That is OKAY but you can’t let it stop you from doing what you love.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

Our biggest area of growth with our business has not only been customers but what all we have product wise! We have been doing this almost 3 years (March 2022) and I started out with only doing bar soaps, we only did bar soaps up until around March of this year (2024) and since then have launched a range of different products. Body washes, beard oil, sugar scrubs, we did body butters for a while which will be coming back, we’ve done lots of things and plan to do more!! We have also grew ALOT this year on social media and with our customers. We started this year with 250 or so followers. We are now sitting at over 1.8k followers, which we call our followers Bubbles! We have customers all over the United States, we have shipped internationally a few times and have supporters all over the world that we interact with everyday.
