Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Mitchell Moss. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Mitchell, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I developed my work ethic in middle school. My dad was in the army and during this time he was stationed in Germany. That allowed the opportunity to start working at the commissary (base grocery store) when I was 12. I would start off getting paid to collect carts. Once I turned 13, I bagged groceries for tips. My parents didn’t buy my school clothes or pay for my entertainment again. It probably helped that I joined the military out of high school as well
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am a bodybuilding coach who helps aspiring competitors get through prep and hit the stage. What’s special about my brand is I specialize in coaching competitors who don’t want to use performance enhancing drugs.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Obtaining my personal training certification back in 2010 and other certifications throughout the years.. Having great attention to detail when it comes to my competitors.being a student of my craft which requires me to attend shows and understand the judging criteria.
My advice is simply to never stop learning and be open to continuing to learn
