Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Moani Hara. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Moani , we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
To be honest, it took time, maturity, and the realization that I already had the right tools to embody confidence and self-esteem. From a young age, I started modeling—a world where confidence and self-esteem are constantly tested. However, my mother always told me to view every situation that comes into my life as an opportunity for learning and growth. I took her advice and applied it to all aspects of my life. I knew that I wouldn’t always know everything or be the strongest in the room, but if I worked hard, educated myself, learned from others, and had a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve, I would succeed.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My business So Good embodies everything I’ve come to embrace in my own journey towards wellness. It’s a reflection of empowerment and confidence, rooted in a deep understanding of what true health, strength, and confidence means to me. What inspired me to launch So Good was the desire to share this ethos with others and provide them with the tools they need to elevate their fitness, style, and ultimately, their lives.
Our mission is to empower individuals on their fitness journey by offering innovative, high-quality equipment that not only enhances performance but also exudes style. We’re more than just a fitness brand; we’re a lifestyle that champions and supports individuals in achieving their health and wellness goals.
So Good isn’t just about fitness—it’s about embracing a lifestyle that empowers you to be your best self, inside and out. Together, I want to make every workout—and every moment—So Good!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
– Have a strong team, individuals that show strengths that you may have weakness in.
– You’ll make mistakes and it’s okay.
– Don’t be afraid to ask questions, for me I like to take notes on things that I am not knowledgable in.
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My parents made a huge sacrifice to enroll me in a high school that helped with children that have the learning disability called Dyslexia. I was diagnosed when I was 11 years old. Their sacrifice developed the tools that have allowed me to succeed.
