We recently connected with Molly Blakeley and have shared our conversation below.
Molly, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My parents. From the time I was a small child my parents were serial entrepreneurs. I worked at every business they had from the time I was six in restaurants bowling alley‘s roller rings radio stations, catering companies, bars, lodges pawn, shops, auctions clothing, stores anything you can possibly think of so I didn’t know that that wasn’t the way that people were supposed to be therefore, my work ethic was and still is More than most people I know and I love it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I own a national Cookie brand that started in my home Kitchen seven years ago. I was down to my last $150 and I was a single mom in a little Alaska town. I was a situation where I had to figure out what I was gonna do to feed my son and pay my bills. So I started making gourmet cookies and in just three years I became a national brand. It’s been an incredible journey. I’ve met incredible people, I absolutely love what I do

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reserch, learn every aspect of the niche you’re going into. Look at your competition and see what they all have in common and what they are doing differently.
Tenacity, keep going, no matter what it looks like continue never stop. The difference between the people who are successful and the ones who didn’t is the successful ones kept going no matter what it look like..
Stay positive and keep your faith. Pray about big decisions.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
if I knew I only had one decade left of life. I would start a family commune for me and my children and grandchildren so that we can all be together and spend every moment with them that I could.
And when I wasn’t with my family, I would be doing my best to make a footprint on this earth to help others have the opportunities that I did
