Meet Molly Tartaglia

We recently connected with Molly Tartaglia and have shared our conversation below.

Molly, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

My optimism comes from my mom. She’s the one who taught me to see the good in every situation, no matter how challenging. She has this incredible way of finding hope and solutions instead of dwelling on problems, and she’s passed that mindset on to me. Growing up, I watched her handle difficulties with grace and determination, always reminding me that setbacks are just stepping stones. Her belief in me and in the idea that things will work out has shaped the way I approach life—with resilience, gratitude, and an unshakable sense of optimism.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m the founder of **MMT Sleep**, a pediatric sleep consulting business dedicated to helping families get the rest they need. I work with parents of children ages 0-5, providing customized sleep plans and hands-on support to solve sleep struggles in a way that works for their family.

What makes my work so exciting is seeing the transformation in both kids and parents. Sleep isn’t just about rest—it affects a child’s mood, development, and overall well-being. And for parents, it means less stress, more patience, and the ability to truly enjoy their time with their little ones. There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing from exhausted parents who finally feel like themselves again after working with me.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding my reach to help even more families. Whether it’s through **one-on-one coaching, online resources, or partnerships with pediatricians**, I want every parent to know that they don’t have to struggle through sleepless nights alone.

One of my most popular offerings is the **Total Sleep Package**, which includes a fully customized sleep plan tailored to your child’s unique needs, plus two weeks of hands-on support to guide you every step of the way. This package is designed to give families lasting results, helping little ones sleep better while giving parents the confidence and tools they need for long-term success.

If you’re ready to finally get the sleep you and your child deserve, I’m here to help!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, three qualities that were most impactful in my journey as a pediatric sleep consultant were **empathy, problem-solving skills, and resilience**.

1. **Empathy** – Helping sleep-deprived parents means understanding their frustration, exhaustion, and even guilt. Being able to truly listen and validate their experiences has been key to building trust and creating plans that work for their unique families.
**Advice:** If you’re just starting out, focus on active listening. Ask open-ended questions, put yourself in your client’s shoes, and always approach conversations with compassion.

2. **Problem-Solving Skills** – No two children are the same, and what works for one family might not work for another. Being able to assess sleep challenges, adapt strategies, and think creatively has made all the difference.
**Advice:** Sharpen your critical thinking by studying different sleep training methods, case studies, and real-world scenarios. The more tools you have in your toolkit, the better you’ll be at finding solutions that work.

3. **Resilience** – Running a business, especially in the early days, comes with challenges—self-doubt, slow growth, and setbacks. Staying committed and pushing through those moments has been crucial.
**Advice:** Expect ups and downs. Surround yourself with mentors, peers, and a support system that encourages you. Keep learning, keep improving, and don’t let temporary setbacks define your long-term success.

For anyone early in their journey, my biggest tip is **to keep showing up**—for your clients, your business, and yourself. Every challenge you overcome makes you stronger and better at what you do!

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Yes! I’m always looking for **like-minded professionals and businesses** to collaborate with in ways that support parents and children in getting the rest they need.

I’d love to partner with **pediatricians, doulas, lactation consultants, therapists, childcare providers, and parenting experts** who share a commitment to helping families thrive. Whether it’s through **referrals, joint workshops, guest content, or integrated services**, I’m open to creative ways we can work together to make life easier for parents.

If you’re interested in collaborating, I’d love to connect! You can reach out to me via email [email protected] or Instagram @mollytartaglia, and let’s explore how we can support families together.
