Meet Moneee Monroeee

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Moneee Monroeee a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Moneee with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I get my work ethic from the stuff that I have been through in life. Having different struggles in my life mentally made me always want to work hard and become a successful woman.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am from Jacksonville, Fl. I attended high school in Atlanta, Ga., and graduated with a principal award. Therefore, I attended Miami Dade Community College right after graduation. I am obtaining my bachelor’s degree in the spring of 2025 from an HBCU called Clark Atlanta University. I will move to Los Angeles after I finish my bachelor’s degree to market myself in an honest way for the entertainment industry. I will be releasing my first single in 2025 to the entire world! I am extremely excited!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three qualities that I have are being classy, knowing the definition of what it is to be a woman, and being virtuous. Skills that I have are education, multi-talented, unique, management, being punctual, professional, and valuable. Areas of knowledge that were impacted on my success journey are having all of my music be copyright, having my business stuff LLC, and having my business trademark. Doing stuff the right way and legal way and what fits my personality and heart has always mattered to me. The best advice that I would give someone on their way to their success journey is to be patient, be humble, surround yourself with people who are honest, take pride in anything that you put your hands on, do not rush anything, sit on your success for a while until you feel it, be yourself, and don’t let social media dictate your life or who you are as a person. Don’t let the glitz and the glam be apart of who your character is.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

Yes, a particular challenge that I have faced recently was that I started off attending Clayton State University for my bachelor’s degree in film production, and after a month of me spending time doing all my hard work, I found out the college was a scam. They had me enrolled in classes that were not even for a film production major; it was for a communications major. The hard work and dedication that I put in for a whole month was wasted on the wrong set of classes that was not even covered for my major. The university used gravitational advertising with the Georgia Film Academy to make students take their program, but it was never such a thing as taking a film production degree. That was extremely hurtful to me. I am such an adamant person, and that really hurt me. Therefore, I am glad God showed me the truth of what it was, and I got out quick! Now I am transferring to an HBCU and obtaining my degree in Mass Media Arts with a minor in music!
