Meet Monika Spruch

We recently connected with Monika Spruch and have shared our conversation below.

Monika , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I found my purpose by following the spark that lit up every time I stepped on stage or stood in front of a mirror as a little girl, pretending to sing opera in my grandmother’s dresses. Music, especially opera, has always stirred something deep in my soul—it’s where I feel most alive and connected to something greater than myself.

Over the years, my path took me through modeling, acting, and fashion, but singing—especially blending opera with modern performance and couture—kept calling me back. It was only when I fully embraced my artistic identity and created Catwalk Opera that everything aligned.

Now, my purpose is to inspire others by merging classical art with contemporary expression, to bring opera to unexpected places like fashion shows and beauty pageants, and to show people—especially women—that elegance, strength, and creativity can coexist. Purpose, for me, was always there. I just had to be brave enough to listen and create something unique from it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m a certified soprano singer, international model, and the founder of Catwalk Opera—a brand and artistic experience that fuses live operatic performance with high fashion, red-carpet glamour, and meaningful causes. I currently hold the title of Mrs. Europe Global 2024, and I’ve had the honor of receiving the International Opera Singer Award in Cannes and a Best Talent nomination from The Global Beauty Awards.

My journey began in Poland with childhood dreams of performing. Over time, I developed not only as a classically trained singer but also as a fashion model and performer. What’s special about my brand is that it’s a bridge between worlds—I bring opera out of the theater and into fashion shows, beauty pageants, car galas, and luxury events, making classical music accessible and emotionally powerful in places you wouldn’t expect it.

Right now, I’m focused on expanding Catwalk Opera to new stages. I’m booking guest performances at international fashion shows, concerts, and private events, while collaborating with designers, DJs, and producers to develop an opera–EDM crossover sound. I want to reach younger audiences and redefine how opera can be experienced.

In December, I’m producing the Carmel Couture Celebrity Fashion Show, a charity event supporting youth arts education through the Sunset Center. I’m also exploring the launch of a signature lifestyle product that aligns with my elegant, health-conscious brand—something that reflects beauty, wellness, and sophistication.

Everything I do is driven by love—for music, fashion, beauty, and making people feel something real. I want my work to uplift, to be memorable, and to spark inspiration wherever it goes.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, vision, and self-belief.

Resilience helped me navigate rejection, uncertainty, and moments when I didn’t know how things would unfold—but I kept going. As an artist and performer, the path isn’t always straight, and you have to be willing to adapt without giving up on your dream.

Vision gave me the clarity to create something that didn’t exist before—Catwalk Opera. It allowed me to merge my love of classical music with fashion and performance in a way that’s personal and powerful. When you have a strong vision, people feel your purpose.

And most importantly, self-belief. There were so many times I had to be my own biggest cheerleader. When others doubted or didn’t fully understand my ideas, I had to hold that belief for myself until the results spoke for me.

My advice to anyone starting out is this: stay connected to your why. Make time every day to fuel your creativity, study your craft, and surround yourself with people who uplift you. Don’t be afraid to be different—your uniqueness is your greatest advantage. And remember, consistency is more important than perfection. Keep showing up, and your path will unfold in ways you couldn’t have imagined.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes, I’m always open to meaningful partnerships and collaborations—especially with people who share a passion for art, beauty, music, and purpose-driven experiences.

I’m currently looking to collaborate with:

Fashion designers and couture brands for live opera–runway fusion performances

Music producers and DJs who are interested in creating EDM + opera crossover tracks

Film composers and directors for movie soundtracks where my voice can bring emotion, elegance, or dramatic power to cinematic moments

Event producers, luxury venues, and charity organizations looking for a high-impact soprano performance that elevates their event

Brands in wellness, fashion, or beauty who align with elegance, authenticity, and creativity

If you’re someone who’s inspired by the idea of blending classical artistry with modern platforms—or want to bring a powerful emotional moment to your next show, soundtrack, or campaign—I’d love to hear from you.
