We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Monteque Pope-le Beau. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Monteque below.
Hi Monteque , thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
My optimism is rooted in my faith in humanity. Traveling around the globe has provided me with valuable insights into diverse cultures. I encourage anyone who has the opportunity to explore beyond their borders, as it fosters a deeper appreciation for humanity. It’s fundamentally about compassion, empathy, and grasping the experiences of others. To truly assist your local community, it’s essential to comprehend their challenges; you must walk a mile in their shoes. Only then can you genuinely convey your understanding and commitment to help, earning their trust.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As an artist, poet, photographer, screenwriter, and playwright, I wear many hats, but above all, I serve as the CEO of a cultural arts organization The Dreameeaverarts Organization. You can find more information at dreamweacerarts.org. Our mission is to create community benefits and enhance our corner of the world. I truly enjoy collaborating with artists because there isn’t a single aspect of everyday life that art hasn’t influenced. Artists form the foundational building blocks of society, and I have a deep passion for working alongside them.
Currently, we are involved in several projects, including my solo art show called Cosmic Journeys in San Francisco on February 6th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., which will feature an artist talk and a poetry open mic at 1009 Market Street, San Francisco California.
Additionally, we are launching a community initiative called the Tapestry of San Francisco, designed to support vulnerable artists. For more information you can go to https://dreamweaverarts.org/weaving-together-empowering-homeless-artists-through-the-tapestry-of-san-francisco/ .
Lastly, I am excited to participate in an international exhibit titled the Tapestry of the Tenderloin.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think that’s a little hard to nail the qualities down to just three or even skills but I will try. Throughout my journey, I discovered that the most remarkable qualities include endurance, perseverance, and patience. Achieving your goals takes time; therefore, patience is essential. The path to realizing your dreams is often filled with obstacles, necessitating endurance. During tough times and moments of despair, perseverance is crucial to prevent you from giving up. It is also very important to have I support and mentor network
As for skills, the most valuable one to cultivate is being a good listener. While being an excellent speaker is important, the ability to listen is even more significant. By listening, you gain insights, which guide your actions and responses. Ultimately, everything you undertake requires a slow and steady approach, preparing you for whatever challenges life may present.
Having a robust support and mentor network is essential, particularly during the initial stages of your career, business, or venture. They can offer valuable advice and motivate you to persevere when you feel like quitting. However, the most crucial factor is to have faith and confidence in yourself. Regardless of possessing all the skills and qualities in the world, if you lack belief in yourself and your pursuits, success will continually elude you.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
We are always on the lookout for individuals and organizations to partner with in order to create community benefits. Our focus is not on expanding our brand or outreach; instead, we prioritize helping others. We enjoy collaborating with small businesses, independent entrepreneurs, women-owned enterprises, minority-owned companies, and LGBTQ+ businesses. Additionally, we welcome partnerships with writers, artist, authors, and inventors. Our aim is to leverage our social media presence 100 million plus global views to highlight and support others. If you’re interested in collaborating or would like more information, please reach out to Brian Sebastian at [email protected].
