Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Moon Pyinyar. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Moon, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I believe my work ethic comes from being around creatives who put their all into their art, you can’t help but get inspired and motivated when you surround yourself with people who move fast and get things done.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a creative director and a content creator. I’ve worked on lots of Music Videos with upcoming artists and produced indie short-films. I really love coming up with concepts for a project, whether it’s a music video or a commercial or a simple content. I like putting easter eggs and meaning behind every concept for viewers to interrupt in their own ways. I then share the process of my creations, my persona through contents on social media in hopes to connect, influence and inspire others. With all the experiences, followers, strategies I had gained from content creation, I am currently now building a small business service to guide and consult local brands, small businesses to help them build their brands and social presences.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think learning to build a strong discipline really had the most impact in my journey because with discipline, consistency followed and I saw the results I’ve wanted overtime. Communication was also an important skill that had a great impact in my career. I believe knowing how to communicate your ideas and emotions well whether it’s verbally or visually is a necessary skill for a director in a film production, only then you can lead the team well and create the best art. And last but not least, being able to adapt based on the situation, people, the environment is a very impactful skill that helped me on my journey as a director. Because as a creative, you have to meet and work with different people from different backgrounds with different opinions on certain creations and being able to adapt, willing to listen and be open minded had helped me get along with people I’ve worked with. And I believe these skill sets I had mentioned above can be sharpen or even develop by practicing them day by day overtime, slowly making them as your daily habits.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
I like to close my eyes, take deep breaths to meditate and journal my thoughts whenever I feel overwhelmed. Meditation can really help you clear up the fogs in your mind and help you re-focus. Journaling can help you also, by jogging down your thoughts, the problems, the worries, what you might be feeling or going through, you will start to see the problem and find solutions. Like Albert Einstein once said, “You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.”
