Meet Morgan welch

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Morgan Welch. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Morgan below.

Hi Morgan, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my parents. They instilled hard work in me from a young age. I learned that nothing come easy on life but hard work is where it pays off.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a artist. I am an entrepreneur. It is my God given talent which makes me so excited about it. I enjoy telling stories through my paintings. My main medium I use is acrylic and oil painting. My paintings can be found on my website and instagram page.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities or skills that were most impactful was networking, learning about the different painting techniques and working hard. For me going to school to learn about the history of art and practicing my craft was essential in my journey . I also learned and connected with others that were business minded that help me turn my talent and passion into a career as well

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My parents believed in my talent and gift. They invested their time and money to have me go to art camps, schools and classes. They gave me supplies and allowed me to be creative. I started at 4 years old and they continued to allow me to work on my talent all the way to college and support me as I do artshows and galleries now
