Meet Morgane Burke

We were lucky to catch up with Morgane Burke recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Morgane, so great to have you on the platform. There’s so much we want to ask you, but let’s start with the topic of self-care. Do you do anything for self-care and if so, do you think it’s had a meaningful impact on your effectiveness?

Self care is an essential component on my daily routine which I try to incorporate first thing in the morning.
For me, it mostly comes in form of exercise and proper nutrition along with all the principles I teach my clients on a daily basis. I’m a firm believer of preaching what I practice and not the other way around…

Starting my day with proper hydration and a good strength training or cardio session set the tone for the rest of the day and really help me reset and re caliber my mindset.
Through this routine, I gain clarity which helps me establish the roadmap for the day and put me in the right head space to coach my clients, grow my business and take care of my family.

I’m definitely a to-do list and deadline person and work very well with clear structures. But when too much is thrown at me on top of my family life, I tend to get very overwhelmed.
My self care routine also helps releasing some of that stress, prioritizing my tasks and optimizing efficiency and productivity.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am a certified personal trainer, nutrition specialist and owner of Morgane Burke Fitness, a small fitness and wellness company based out of Parker, Colorado.

I focus on women and weight loss, body transformation as well as sustainable fitness and habit formation.
When it comes to nutrition, I use a very holistic approach. I teach my clients an healthy and deprivation free lifestyle that still meets adequate nutrient intakes in order to build lean muscle mass and promote fat loss.

Regardless of the training modality chosen (in person, virtual or self guided customized program), I always make sure to assess the form, mobility and overall fitness level of my clients in order to meet them where they are and program accordingly.
This muscle centric approach is not only used to help them with their short and long term goals but also prevent the onset of chronic diseases and promote longevity.

My 90 day Body Transformation Accelerator program has been a total game changer for so many women who have been able to turn their lives around and build a brand new skillset allowing them to sustain an active and healthy lifestyle improving their quality of life and the one of their loved ones.

Morgane Burke Fitness is about to release a brand new self guided program allowing fitness newbies to dip their toes in and prepare to embark on their wellness journey!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Resilience is by far one of the best qualities to have as an entrepreneur and business owner.
Just like a wellness journey, entrepreneurship is not a linear experience and definitely has its ups and downs.
Resilience helps overcoming daily challenges, periods of doubts, disappointments and frequent curve balls that are thrown at us along the way.

Curiosity and willingness to learn is crucial in any industry.
In order to remain current, it is important to keep an ongoing education and be open to new theories, findings and visions.
Learning new skillsets and getting out of our comfort zone is just adding tools in our toolbox and creating overall added value.

Knowing how and when to take risks is also part of the journey. Nowadays, everything we do is out there and very public. If we succeed, everyone will know and if we fail, everyone will know too. We might as well trust our gut and go for it.

Who is your ideal client or what sort of characteristics would make someone an ideal client for you?

My ideal client is any women out there ready and willing to make a change. Understanding that, in fitness like any other areas of life, there is no secret pills to success other than hard work, discipline, consistency and patience.
I am very lucky to have so many amazing clients who are committed to succeed and willing to take on new challenges every day.
Again, in my industry like many others, there are periods of stagnation and plateaus, it is part of growth. The support and accountability system that I offer with any of my services helps overcome these challenges and reach new milestones.
We work together as a team and I am always here when extra assistance is needed.
