Meet Mr Dimelo

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mr Dimelo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Mr Dimelo, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
I’ve always been about taking pride in my work. No matter what it is, I gotta give it 1000%. What you put out there is a representation of you and I always try to keep that mindful.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Growing up in New York, music has always been an outlet for me. It’s taught me a lot, and even kept me out of some trouble. Anybody that knows me, knows I always give that praise to my brother for introducing me to the creative side of music. Listening to it is one thing, to be able to create it is something else, and I’m extremely grateful for having that gift. Currently I’m living in Atl Ga, still pursuing my passions while building other projects and relationships along the way.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
One of the things that stuck with me growing up were the 3 D’s. Discipline, dedication, and determination. Once you know what your passion is, learn as much as you can, and then apply yourself. Remember to keep consistent, and don’t let anyone discourage what your dreams are.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
It takes a village, and my environment has done everything and more to push me to where I am and where I’m going. You live and you learn, struggle creates strength, strength creates discipline, and discpline creates success
