Meet Mr. Keith And Dr. Kat Demps

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mr. Keith And Dr. Kat Demps a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Mr. Keith and Dr. Kat, we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?

We have learned to self-care daily through prayer, meditation, and quiet time.
We aim to spend time with undisclosed, weekly date nights.
As part of our own self-care regimen, we participate in wellness activities such as a couples massage, ionic foot detox, hyperbaric chamber, cryotherapy, infrared sauna, touch of light, ondamed and compression.
The impact that self-care has had on our effectiveness is we have to practice what we preach.
Our behavior has to match our messaging.
Final, self-care fuels our ability to caregive and coach others to do the same without sacrificing our own health.
We value quality over quantity of self-care and try to lead by example.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Persistence, perseverance and patience are qualities that were most impactul in our journey.
When the going gets tough, persistence is the key to succeed.
When progress is slow, perseverance must flow.
And when life seems to be getting us down, we wait quietly and prayerfully for change.
We advise those in their journey to pray and focus on their divinely guided purpose and plan with the understanding that these three qualities will always be tested in life.
The question is will one pass the test and grow stronger from each triumph and challenge that life brings?

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

We are always interested in collaborating with people who share a commitment to serving, making an impact and leaving a spiritual legacy in one’s life purpose as a caregiver without sacrificing one’s own health.
Faith-based caregivers come to us for all things caregiver wellness.
As you may know, caregivers come in many forms: as a single, married, professional caregiver or healthcare professional.
These qualities make you our ideal client.
We are especially looking for partners who bring complementary expertise, fresh perspectives, and a willingness to exchange ideas openly—whether they’re individuals, organizations, or grassroots groups that can assist this niche population in self-care wellness through spiritual nourishment and nutritional health initiatives.

If you’re reading this and feel aligned, we would love to connect. The best way to reach us is via email at [email protected] or through our linktree: linktr.ee/kldconsultors to set up a time to discuss how our work might intersect.
