Meet Ms. Monét

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ms. Monét. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ms. Monét below.

Ms. Monét, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

I’ve always been a leader and not a follower. In every thing that I’ve done I learned early on that the only person I need to impress is ME! When you apply that kind of energy to every facet, you can’t help but be reminded that you’re existing for a purpose bigger than yourself, so let me look, act and be the confidence that I exude,

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

A native NorCal girl from the Bay Area, I’m a singer, songwriter, actor, podcast host, radio personality and producer who continuously seeks what’s next for me. I’ve been in the music business for well over 30 plus years and I was a contestant on Season 24 of the Voice where I made it to the top 24. Recently Ive been added as a reoccurring artist on the Smooth Jazz Cruise and one of the newest members of Joe Bonamassa’s band. Also, I’m currently working on my first theater show happening January 2025

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

When I think about my journey and how far I’ve gotten, I can only attribute it to my being consistent, professional, and humble.. These qualities allowed many doors to open for me. It’s always a joy when I meet people and they say, “your reputation proceeds you, this means whatever I’m doing is being done right and people notice. My advice would be to “show up”, allow yourself the experience and be tangible in the moment.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

I was raised by a single mom who had the support of her mother and grandmother. Each one of these ladies instilled in me a resilience that to this day, defines my confidence. I am able to conquer anything, and reach whatever goals I’ve set for myself because I know that I can.
