Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Murray Swanby. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Murray , so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.
Honestly it’s just something that comes with being in the public eye, well known, or famous. You have to have a tough shell. It doesn’t matter what you do in life.. someone is sitting on the sidelines ready to hate you, talk bad about you, try and make fun of your looks or whatever it is.. its 1000% going to happen. Just know that it’s coming from a person that isn’t happy in life, projecting some crazy inner garbage.. just expect it. The best thing you can do is just live your truth, be happy, and have fun doing it.. nothing else really matters.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Murray Swanby i feel like I’m always doing a million things in life haha. Right now my most active are: I do events in West Hollywood as an event producer. I travel internationally as a DJ. I was on a couple amazing Reality Tv shows. And my favorite is that i am the Founder of a nonprofit InfluenceTheWorld-501.c.3 that helps orphans globally – I was actually asked to speak at the world economic forum last year in Switzerland as an up-and-coming leader championing for change in the world, and that was definitely a moment i like to reflect on, and to remind myself that what I’m doing makes a difference. I love life and i try to make sure everyone else is enjoying their lives on this little planet too
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think enjoying the life you choose is a huge deal. If youre not happy i think you should honestly just pick up and move to somewhere that makes you happy. It sounds scary but just trust yourself and the universe. Life is too short babes. I think I’ve always been a dreamer, and a creator, and a manifestor.. i think those all go together. If you have dreams, chase them.. meditate on what you want, write it down in a journal, write it on the walls, look at it everyday.. go create that life.
I think being open to change is huge. We’re all here to evolve, grow, learn something new. It never stops.. so just always be open to learning new things, breaking habits, letting go of negativity or trauma.. and just finding who you are inside 🙂
Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
Life can feel lonely sometimes. I Love LOVE my chosen family (you guys know who you are tehe) i have an amazing group of extended friends and chosen family that have really been there for me on my journey and I’m so thankful for all of them. That fam is forever growing. I just vibe at my own frequency and the people that can match that.. are the ones i want in my life. -I also love my bloodline family, they are all beautiful people with hearts of gold. To anyone feeling alone.. there are 8 billion people in the world.. if 99% of people don’t like you.. there are still 80 Million people out there that are ready to LOVE you 😉
